Photo 1: March 1942- Snow plow at work moving the result of a three day snow storm at No. 7 Air Observer School in Portage La Prairie Manitoba.
Photo 2: April 30 1945, six airmen standing in front of snow clearing equipment at No. 12 Service Flying Training School in Brandon Manitoba. This was the day of the last `Wings Parade' (class graduation) at the school. Colour photos: 1 of 2 snowblowers from the BCATP now owned by the museum.
Our two Sno Go trucks are on FWD (truck company) chassis. One served at No.12 Service Flying Training School in Brandon and No. 1 Central Navigation School at Rivers, both in Manitoa during WWII. The other truck served at No. 10 Service Flying Training School in Dauphin and No. 7 Bombing & Gunnery School in Paulson, both in Manitoba and during WWII. The trucks were moved between the schools as needed. The Dauphin/Paulson snowblower saw action up until 1986 (at least) loading plowed snow on the streets into trucks for the Town of Dauphin. Again thanks to Greg, our archivist, for photos and captions! #TBT#throwbackthursday#brandontourism #exploremb #explorecanada 🍁 #manitobastarattraction #nationalhistoricsite #airmuseum #museum #travelcanada #CATPMuseum
🌊 Tide pools or rock pools are shallow pools of seawater that form on the rocky shore. Many of these pools exist as separate bodies of water only at low tide. 🌊

The last 4 months have been a crazy adventure. At the end of August I moved to Calgary, Alberta. My time here so far has led me to learn a lot about myself, and my photography. Just when Calgary has started to feel like home, I will be going back home to Ontario for the holidays. Over the next few weeks I will be posting more, sharing some old and new work. #lakelouise#banff#alberta#nikoncanada#travelalberta#travelcanada

🌲 Crooked Falls is a spectacular waterfall that tumbles over several rocks and has stunning views looking directly at the waterfall and at its side. Located in the Upper Squamish Valley just off of the Sigurd Trail, the hike to the waterfall also has several scenic viewpoints looking down towards the Squamish River and across the valley. 🌲
