Sabias el significado de el ojo turco? 🧿
Un ojo turco, también conocido como nazar, es un abalorio con la forma de una gota plana donde se encuentra la figura de un ojo al que se atribuyen fuerzas protectoras, y que es muy usado como talismán o amuleto contra el mal de ojo y las malas energías.

This castle, the Pena Palace in Sintra, Portugal, takes my new number one spot for castles I have visited to date. It is one of the first that I’ve seen with this much color, setting it apart from a lot of the other castles I’ve seen which are typically gray.
It’s pretty mind blowing to think that this was someone’s house for centuries and was inhabited up until the early 1900s. Especially taking into account what heavy equipment it takes to build such structures with modern day technology and how they were able to build such a beautiful structure with very minimal equipment.
The views over the city from Pena Palace are unbelievable. You’re able to see all of Sintra as well as central Lisbon far off in the distance.
Met one of my Instagram besties In real life this weekend. Isn’t it crazy how social media strangers often hype you up and support you more than people you’ve known forever? I love this community we’ve created 👏👏 #womensupportingwomen
Here’s a detail of a panorama image I took (12 images stitched together!) at Landmannalauger and used in my recent FUSION design. Go back a couple posts to see it! I could stare at this landscape forever. I still can’t believe I was there. Who else loves feeling small in an epic landscape? We are so lucky to have this planet as our home ❤️
Before to start this journey, I wouldn't expect to sleep a night in the tent on the street, along the Alaska Highway. But this hitchhiking trips is getting full of surprises: we left early in the morning and not even after 30 second we found our daily ride.
After 8 hours of driving we reached Yukon, the golden land of Canada. As we arrived late in the night, all the hotels were sold out. A problem? Not really. Luckily we got our tent ⛺ and our sleeping bag in our backpack. This apparent problem gave us the opportunity to admire this stunning sunrise along the Alaska Highway. -

To me, one of the most beautiful things about travel is the fact that every day is different. There are no routines, no set rules, or no expectations. Like i didn't expect that Uzbekistan can be so beautiful. But my trip just started. Can't wait to see more of it 😍
Decision about going to Guatemala was pretty spontaneous. We were sitting next to the sea somewhere in Nicaragua, drinking beer during a happy hour, and some guy told us that if we have 2 weeks more in Central America we should definitely go to Guatemala. So why not, it sounded like the best idea ever.
It took us only 40 hours to get there, plenty of buses all in Nica time, which means a lot of waiting.
After 2 days in Antigua we when to lake Atitlan. 90 km later, and 6 hours of sleeping Ania woke me up for the most stunning view ever.
We stayed in small village, San Pedro. We met great people and instead of moving further we stayed there for the next 5 days.
This place is magical, like the time has stopped and nothing else mattered.
Thanks to you, swedish stranger, we had one of the most amazing experiences ever. Sometimes it's good to talk with the strangers.

My mountains. How can I even start to explain? They make me calm, peaceful and happy. They fill me with a strong sense of gratitude, when I understand my place in the universe, just by seeing them. They remind me how much I respect the nature, and the mountains in particular. So powerful, so stable. So threatening, and yet so beautiful. .
Today is my Hebrew birthday (yes, I have two dates 😋) I had the privilege of celebrating the first date in the mountains with my beloved.
I wish to myself for the next years to come - to see the mountains, feel them and connect with them, as much as I can.
In this moment I was with tears from how much I was full of that feeling. I wanted to share it with you 💕 .
