Well...my Hong Kong trip was amazing! It’s really a pleasure to have direct flights from Koh Samui to such a different location. And nice to feel yourself as a tourist.
Some people like to live with the nature, some prefer a city life style, I guess I like both. I’m enjoying every moment when living on the tropical and layback island of Koh Samui, but I definitely couldn’t enjoy it so much without short trips to vibrant cities 🇭🇰 . Keeping the balance you know 🙈
Another thing that I’ve made sure for myself 💁🏼♀️ is that “don’t listen what they say, go see!». Mass media are really showing Hong Kong 🇭🇰 as a place of war, where manifestation are happening all around the city since June and riot police is everywhere, and all the roads are closed and full of stones... Maybe I wasn’t in the manifestation areas of the city, but honestly this city looks so peaceful and even more slow that Bangkok or Moscow. Also I’ll not talk about the manifestation as this page is not about that, but google it! it’s a very important thing. But anyway the city is still super welcoming🤍. Does it happened to you to discover a place that was looking completely different through the mass media lens?

Nowhere in the world is the clash of old and new more apparent than Dubai. In the north of the city, Old Dubai is a maze of alleyways, lively souqs and fortresses. To the south, the Downtown Dubai skyline looks to have been plucked straight from the script for “Blade Runner.” Perfectly positioned between the two, the Dubai Frame in Zabeel Park captures that juxtaposition, presenting scenes of the “old” from one side, and the “new” from the other. Dubbed the *largest* picture frame in the world at 492-feet-high and 344-feet-wide, the gold structure opened in January 2018, offering visitors 360-degree views from the glass-bottomed bridge that spans the top of the frame.

How is Christmas only two weeks away!!!! Time is seriously flying by but I do love the holiday season so much. I love all the lights and the songs and the warmth of it all. Even though it gets super cold here in Chicago, I think that makes the holiday season even more memorable. One of my favorite things during this time is the #christkindlemarketchicago . I go every year to get my wine and of course a brat 😋. What’s something you love doing during the holidays!?

Reminiscing on the best trip I took this year. NZ was such a memorable trip for me and it was hard to capture the beauty of this place with the camera. You will be amazed at the landscape and what nature is capable of showing off.
So, here it is a little throwback #throwbackthursday of my favourite moment and probably one of my all time favourite picture from the North Island that I created as soon as I stumbled upon this road by chance.
What I was supposed to do was a famous hike that time which leads to a beautiful view of Mount Taranaki with it's reflection in the lake but destiny had other plans and somehow I misjudged the time it takes to do the hike both ways, ended up skipping it and being super sad.
I so badly wanted a clear shot of this mountain that we drove madly on every possible road that could lead us a little close to it and voila, we found this road.
Sometimes life can throw a curveball at you but be focused to stay in the game.
Do you recall any incident where you felt like you have lost it but you changed the circumstances with your determination? Would you share it me?
P.S: I am sorry I don't really know the name of this road but it's the adjacent one that leads to Pouakai Tarn trek.

Nothing proves that more than Dubai. In a city known for superlatives, you’ll find eye-popping architecture on every corner.
The world’s tallest building, at a lofty 2,722 feet, Burj Khalifa has become synonymous with Dubai’s growth and grandeur. Since completion in 2010, this cloud-piercing structure has become the centerpiece of Dubai, housing the ultra-luxe Armani Hotel, residential units, restaurants and bars, as well as the At the Top Burj Khalifa SKY experience, taking visitors to the 148th floor for jaw-plummeting views of Dubai. The 160-story Burj Khalifa was designed by Chicago-based firm Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, the winners of an invited design competition, and features a triple-lobed footprint inspired by the spider lily flower.
📍This masterpiece of the modern architecture is so tall that it’s impossible to capture it fully when standing too close so this photo was taken at the palace downtown.
