#NEWPOST Sometimes traveling to the same destination is exactly what we need ⠀
Growing up I always felt the urge of traveling and experiencing new things. I imagined a point in my life where I would be checking off bucket list destinations. But, as I get older, I find myself enjoying the fact of revisiting old places.⠀
Places that provide the inspiration and education I search. Places that continuously challenge me even after visiting numerous times. ⠀
I sense many people feel pressured [myself included] to check out new destinations because “that’s the thing to do.” I get it. We have to maximize our time as most of us share limited resources.⠀
But, if you are only giving up your favorite place (s) because you feel it’s the norm then you are doing it all wrong. ⠀
Continue to seek that energy that fuels your soul and revisit that spot as much as you can if it boosts your passion. Why not?⠀
Remember to embrace what your heart desires and do YOU 💜. More on this on luciellesalomon.com ⠀[Link in bio]
I took an inspiring Tampa brand with me to Paris 😊. Swipe to see it up close! It’s a gorgeous set. Give @projectmomentdesigns a follow to not only shop beautiful creations but to lift yourself up 💫. #gifted
These kids were smart and had umbrellas...I was not smart and was thoroughly soaked by the time I was done exploring Nara ☔
Moral of the story? 🧐 ...always make sure to check the weather 😅 (Side note I'm extremely stubborn and never could bring myself to buy a dang umbrella 🤦♀️🤷♀️) Location: Nara, Japan | October 2019 🏔 📷 Shot on my Samsung S9 #with galaxy and brought out the details in #lightroom and #photoshop

Have you ever wondered with the flu and now coronavirus where is the safest place to sit on a plane?!? Well then this #traveltiptuesday is for you!! 🌟 You should sit by the window! Studies show people that sit by the window have the lowest chance of getting sick. Also, bring sanitizer and disinfectant wipes to off your arm rests, seat belts, seat, air vents, and tray.

When I first saw this place on Instagram, I instantly saved it to my Next Adventures list and couldn’t stop bugging @akhiljain08 to visit these magical thermal pools in Mexico with me 💦
To be honest, we went in expecting a calm and quiet place pretty much to ourselves to relax and enjoy on the last leg of our trip but soon realized that this place is very popular with the locals and fills up quite rapidly. We barely had enough time to take this shot but soon after rushed to find a pool and relax in the pleasantly warm water.
In few moments tho, the place was buzzing with activity, local families having a fabulous time and to be fair we did too!
Head over to stories to see what I’m talking about 💫
Wasnt sure about posting this because it’s not really of anything, but ocean vibes yano??
In other news, let’s talk about new years resolutions. Has anyone been successful thus far? Cause i aint! There’s still 10 months of the year left though so I should be a no-sweets-Spanish-speaking woman by the end of the year 🤣 (i wish lol)
Drop me a comment about your NY resolutions 👇🏼
𝗪𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐞?
This is a question I ask myself before I embark on my next adventure. How does my presents effect the space I’m in? How will I get treated? Who’s actually playing attention to me?
What’s I’ve grown to understand is that being a Black traveler is ground breaking. Black travelers are rare but they are to some people. Choosing to step outside of your comfort-zone and take on a new challenge is both rewarding and liberating. There is so much to discover and traveling can open up that learning path for you.
Black traveling also means understanding how the world sees you not just how you see the world. A lot of people will stare and want to touch you, but that’s just something that comes with the territory. Seeing how people chose to interact with you will change your entire experience. You may go somewhere with your own idea of how things will go, but trust me your trip will not go smooth without understanding the other side. Be open and ready for whatever your new challenge has to offer you.
Lastly, Black traveling is about sharing. Sharing culture, languages, food, etc. Interacting with different people will help expand your knowledge on others. Becoming global citizen can only bring us closer.
So, what does Black traveling mean to you? Comment below!
