#blessed . All we need is Family. Sometimes the best vacations are simple beach days with the ones we love most.❤
Traveling with young children can be intimidating but don't let that stop you from creating amazing memories.
The most exceptional destinations are those where you get so engrossed in the surroundings that you don't have the time to think about anything else. Such is the beauty of nature, as well as the power that nature holds. People can find calm atmosphere to enjoy with the ones they love the most.
Again, together with my grandson and my loved ones, we crossed the English Channel by a fast shuttle train in the 50 km Eurotunnel, from Folkestone to Calais (this time it took over 40 minutes) 🇬🇧🚆🇫🇷 .
How to save $ for travel in 2020(Save this post!)
Before quitting my job to travel, I spent 2 yrs saving so that I could travel for a yr without working. I would be able to travel long term on a (extreme) budget - staying in hostels, traveling low cost countries, volunteering, etc. That’s how I traveled for a year straight with no income. WORTH. IT. Whether you want to save for a weekend trip or a yr of travel, here are some tips to help:
Created a travel savings fund - I created a savings fund specifically dedicated to my travels. Any extra money would go here.
Get A Side Hustle - If you have time, consider a 2nd job. While working in full time corporate HR, I’d sometimes do brand ambassador jobs for $20/hr. That $ was solely for travel.
No shopping - I started off as a fashion blogger bc I couldn’t afford travel. Then I realized I had to choose one & travel was a no brainer for me. Travel felt like a true investment, so I stopped shopping or only shopped 2nd hand & sales. Whatever your vice, consider lowering those costs.
Cook @ home - Check your bank account to see how much you spend on eating out or coffees. Every bit adds up.
Cut out cable - It’s 2020. Internet + Hulu + Netflix will probably get the job done!
Get a Roomate - This is more drastic, but it’s what I did and it helped me save $600+/month over the course of 2 years. I was determined to make this happen. I didn’t want to fall into the trap of spending a lot more just because I was earning more. I didn’t want to tie myself down to any to car payments, house notes, etc - even though i could have.
Create a budget - most of us don’t even realize how much we’re spending & what for. Check out @daveramsey for budgeting tips!
If travel is on your bucketlist or vision board this year, keep these tips in mind! this would look different for everyone. One person may not have to cut anything out of their lives while another person might have to pick up a side gig. We all have different priorities, responsibilities, lifestyles, etc. Hope this helps!
How have you saved up to travel or anything else for that matter? What sacrifices have you made?

"Don't cross oceans for people that wouldn't cross a puddle for you." .
NO, no, no, do it! Do cross oceans for people. Love people, all people. No conditions attached, not wondering if they are worthy or not. Cross oceans, climb mountains, get on that flight. Love and life isn't about what you get - It's about what you give! .
So I beg you to love. I don't care how old you are, what you have been through, what you believe in or how many times you've been hurt, please never ever stop believing and acting in the name of love. Keep on sharing, even if it's just a smile or some kind words. .
Love has the power to cure, to heal, to change and to unite. Use your power. ❤
