In July we joined the @wizzair discount club for the year. The saving we made on our first trip alone covered the cost of membership. Next month we will be flying on our 3rd European holiday with the airline, to Lisbon, for only £18pp return flights!
The feeling when your belly raving inside😂. Despite only a short-haul flight, having the chance flying with SQ’s latest regional B787-10 Dreamliner that in the future will replace their rest A330-300s was something i’d remember as a first timer, ofcourse experiencing the futuristic cabin looks, cocoon seats, interesting smart windows and upgraded inflight entertainment system. Not to forget the outstanding cabin crew services✨
I barely entering miles world so this is my first ever redemption, and hopefully more to come. Aside of flying, miles can be collected by making restaurant reservations, credit cards, hotel stays, Grab rewards and its also purchase-able. Would be very nice if anyone willing to share more tips & tricks😁🙏🏽

💧Water vs. Carbonated/Aerated beverages-
✔️ Drinking water helps to wake up your cells and get it in its action mode.
✔️ Water helps to detoxify your body by eliminating waste.
✔️ Perfect for Hydration
✔️ Doesn't disturb the calcium reserves in the bone and body.
✔️ Absolutely NO CALORIES!
❌ Carbonated beverages are tasty, but it ruins your tooth enamel.
❌ It drains out your calcium from the body, thanks to the phosphoric acid that it contains! ❌ There is excess sugar in most drinks, which will make you more sluggish.
❌ And yes, it has calories- UNWANTED & NON-NUTRITIONAL!
Hence, opt for water over carbonated beverages! ✌️ ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO ARE REGULARLY HAVING CARBONATED BEVERAGES.
★ In case anyone missed the memo, Black women travel too. Loved seeing old friends and making new ones at the first Women in Travel Summit Europe in beautiful Riga, Lativa. So many cultures represented in this group, with folks being based on both sides of the pond. Spending time with all of you at the Summit and exploring the city was definitely a highlight of the week! 🙏🏾💖

How many of you moms out there find traveling with little angels exhausting🙋🏻♀️??? Well, here is a list of traveling tips from a very out-of-shape low energy working mom 🤪:
1. Pack a week or two in advance. Stick with carry-on only even if traveling by 🚗 . You will always come back with more. •••••••••••••••••••••
2.Allow a day ‼️BEFORE traveling for last minute packing and get everything in the car 🚗. Even if you already packed your belongings, we all knows things get really hectic the morning of. •••••••••••••••••••••••
3. Set low expectations of actual activities. ‼️Less is more 😊. Less activities 👉more leisure 👉more rest 👉 greater enjoyment! After all, it is a VACATION!!! ••••••••••••••••••••••
4. Budget an ‼️EXTRA recovery day BEFORE at the end of your vacation to just do laundry, rest before jumping back into your daily routine! •••••••••••••••••••
5. Book an @airbnb that has washer and dryer as well as a kitchen! Yes, it is so nice to be able to have fresh clothes and be able to cook one a few meals to save on 💸💸. •••••••••••••••••••••••
I like to travel on Sunday and use entire Saturday to catch on rest from a long work week and tie up loose ends, and yes... lots of loose ends.
Even though we got home on Thursday night, I took Friday off, despite having Saturday and Sunday. I just want to use Friday to rest, and do extra u packing and cleaning up before getting back to weekend routine, which is always busy before the work week starts.
Most importance of all, enjoy the moments and be thankful for the good, the bad and the ugly ❤️. Keep calm and travel on! •

Don't leave for your year-end holiday without the Jetkids by Stokke Bedbox! 🛫
📷: @pyohanez - I’ve been eyeing to get the Jetkids bedbox by Stokke and finally i got mine. It is so useful especially for a long haul flight. As you know, flying with a toddler is sometimes quite challenging but this amazing little box has made our flight way easier.
It has a 3-in-1 capabilities that can convert from ‘easy ride-on’ to a ‘wonderful suitcase’ and ‘comfortable bed’. How amazing! Quite plenty of storage it has, I can also store Yara essentials and snacks for a quick grab during the journey. Most importantly, it is lightweight hence super easy for lifting and pulling. Isn’t it so pretty and chic to travel with 😍
Mama and Papa were able to enjoy movies while Yara slept throughout the journey.
I got mine at @happikiddo_ @stokkebaby

Sorry/not sorry for the clickbait. 🤷🏼♀️...I’ve always wanted to say “Secrets Revealed!” in one of my posts! 😂
Seriously though, I thought you may be interested in my sources of information about hacking in this week’s #travelhacktuesday post!
There’s an endless number of travel hacking websites/blogs out there, but many are repetitive and don’t always contain information that is applicable to everyone’s preference in travel. So I am sharing my personal favorites with you! These are resources I actively follow/read for travel hacking offers and tips. Most have websites, email subscriptions, and Facebook pages. I quickly scan through their latest posts almost daily:
✈️ Doctor of Credit
✈️ Points With a Crew
✈️ Flyer Talk
✈️ Nerd Wallet
✈️ Miles to Memories
✈️ Frequent Miler
☀️ I also subscribe to emails from the major airline and hotel loyalty programs, eshopping portals, and dining programs.
☀️ Last week I mentioned cashbackmonitor.com as another hacking resource I use for online shopping.
☀️ Finally, I check the credit card websites of current and future cards to revisit the earning rates for various categories of spend as well as their redemption methods and partners.
Like I’ve said to many, it can be information overload for sure, but you learn over time who provides the info that you personally care about most. I hope my “secrets” can be helpful to you as well!😊
Happy hacking! ✈️

With the help of its trusty sidekick (aka smartphone) it will track wherever your items are located on the map.
Your Shield Card is always there to save the day - and your travel plans! 🔍

Are you like me? Indecisive and over-the-top? LOL
Well allow me to introduce your new travel necessity: *clears throat*

This has been coming up often in my chats with fellow wanderlusters so I thought I'd drop a hot tip - USE INCOGNITO MODE when using a browser.
The internet knows when you're booking a flight. Heck it knows when you're THINKING of booking a flight, and if you start searching or Google-ing things, it will try to make you feel pressured to book asap by increasing prices.
This is what I do:
1. I use the Skyscanner app to search for my flights. I find one I like, take note of the dates and times and flight numbers.
2. Open a new tab in Incognito/Secret Mode
3. Go to Google Flights and check the same dates from the Skyscanner app to see if you can find a cheaper price. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. If yes, book here. If no ... 4. Open another incognite mode tab, open Skyscanner. Search for your flight again, and book it on one of the 3rd party sites. If they have decent reviews, I trust it and I've not had a problem to this date.
NOTE: If you search on the secret mode tab, then wait, go out and go to the bathroom or go on Instagram and come back to it later, I think it still knows.
CLOSE the browser, open a NEW incognito tab, and start again when you are ready to book.
Incognito mode has worked so many times for me. Have you tried this and noticed a difference? .
#TravelTuesday ✈️ Wouldn’t it be great if you could have healthy options at your fingertips no matter where you are?! I just had a 12 hour day of travel and I was STRUGGLING to find a single healthy option for breakfast in the airport, especially with a quick connection and even less time to search. I ended up with an Egg McMuffin in the end to at least get some protein, but I was just tryna find some fruit or something real!
Here’s how you can avoid this struggle on your next trip:
1. If you have the time, eat a healthy breakfast at home so you can stay full and not have to hunt down something remotely healthy at the airport.
2. While you’re packing your suitcase, take some time to pack some snacks of your own, especially if you have a long travel day. Dried fruits, nuts, and healthy bars like @kindbars are my favs because they don’t take up a bunch of room. This will save you calories and 💰! 3. If you do opt for the plane meal, try to stick with the foods that are light and easy to digest. At high altitudes your body almost completely shuts down digestion. Heavy foods will make you feel crappy (literally) once you land. If you can, pack your own fiber-rich bowl of quinoa and veggies to fill you up but not make you run for the bathroom when you touch down.

That is why I never travel without insurance! Whilst travelling in Greece a few years ago I ended up in hospital after an unfortunate scooter accident. I needed 70 stitches (yes you read that right, 70!), thank goodness I had travel insurance! 🏥
I love to save money so I always take time to research the best (and cheapest) deals for my travel insurance. 💰 @comparethemarket_aus make it easy to compare different travel insurances so that I can find the best value one for my needs, ensuring that I am covered for whatever random activities I will get up to (i.e. scuba diving, climbing, skiing etc...), simples! 🎿🐠 ::::

A few of my favourite things ☺︎ when traveling, it’s always nice to bring pieces of my routine with me, and also keep digestion flowin & immunity high.
〰️ papaya, which I eat whenever I’m anywhere tropical. beta carotene rich + high in vitamin c...NYC papayas just don’t cut it.
〰️ @sajewellness essential oils are my travel besties, especially gutzy + fortify, although I’ve been using a lot of pain release (helpful w current leg ouches 🥴)
〰️ blue light glasses to help reduce blue light exposure before bed, your friend especially with jet lag
〰️ @pukkaherbsus three mint tea or any peppermint tea will do to support digestion after meals especially
P.S. if you haven’t seen my pack with me video on YouTube yet, I go into alll the nitty gritty of things I bring with me when I travel!
