Just wanted to give a quick shout out to @healthworksfit! Today was the first day back to the gym in six months, and I felt very safe being back. There was actually only two of us today in our virtual spin class, and even though I have never experienced a ‘virtual’ class before...it felt so good to be back on that bike it didn’t really matter much (despite wearing a mask on my sweaty face the entire time as well!) Who would have know I would miss going to spin?! I sure didn’t🙈. My husband even commented later in the afternoon how much of an energetic mood I was in...I mean yes, I’m not a ray of sunshine all the time I will admit, but it’s called endorphins people!
Even though we are all getting our cardio in a bit different these days, find something to motivate you and roll with it!!
This photo was taken after I rewarded myself to a @tattebakery sandwich. The Beacon Hill location is my favorite. Place your order, and while you’re waiting, have a walk around the garden. I’m sad to say these hydrangeas are on their way out, but I’m so glad I could go #hydrangeahunting anyway!

One year ago I was living my DREAM exploring what is hands-down one of my favorite cities: Paris. There’s something uniquely charming about it that captured me from my first visit. We soaked in the gardens and museums and ate way too much McDonald’s (that’s normal in one of the world’s food capitals, right?).
(@katbowerse , I miss you. Let’s eat McDonald’s in some fancy city when the world opens back up 😘)

Have you been to a place where you feel as though you have stepped back in time?
Castle combe definitely has that feeling that you’ve gone to a place frozen in time.....and in the best way possible. No new houses have been built in this gorgeous village since the 1600s.
Check out the beautiful valley views, the meandering river and of course the stone cottages. It is an absolute fairytale village !
Just watch out for the strict parking restrictions.
Merzouga is a small village in southeastern Morocco, about 35 km (22 mi) southeast of Rissani, about 55 km (34 mi) from Erfoud, and about 50 km (31 mi) from the Algerian border.

Just northwest of Quito lies a forest cocooned in the clouds. Many of our travelers choose to extend their Galapagos cruise to remain and explore this Andean cloud forest of Mashpi, Ecuador. It is here you can encounter over 400 species of birds, frogs, siemens and other wildlife found nowhere else in the world. The Mashpi Forest is also home to a number of crashing waterfalls and incredible flora explorable during your stay at a private reserve lodge known as Mashpi - a partner of Quasar and a member of #NatGeo#UniqueLodges of the World. 🇪🇨 🐸 🐦⠀

One of the things you may be missing to save both time, manage stress with food, and see results is….
Yes. It can be that simple.
And I'm reminded of this as we continue our 2 week adventure across the country.
You don’t have to spend hours a week in the kitchen figuring out your food.
Food doesn’t have to be stressful.
Your workouts aren’t actually the main way to see results.
Meal prepping is often one of those things that my clients are really excited about or dread at the beginning. I’ll be honest, at first it does sound overwhelming, especially if planning your meals is a last-minute or on the go decision.
However, spending a few extra minutes thinking ahead for the week and maybe an hour or two prepping on the weekend saves you the extra time running around in the week and the stress of figuring out what to eat.
Here are a few of my favorite ways to meal prep to make it low stress and easy:
- Have at least two vegetables on hand that are already washed and cut for you to easily grab as a snack or take on the go.
- Have one protein cooked and cut so all you have to do is portion and add your favorite seasoning or dressing.
- Cook a large portion of pasta or rice to have throughout the week.
You can have all of these as snacks on their own OR you have an easy meal to grab, portion, and warm up already for you!
What is one question you may have about meal prepping?
Life is not a fairy tale...if you lose your shoe at midnight...you are drunk🤭

I loved everything about the view! This was taken about half way down the Santorini Steps. The views were breath-taking and you couldn’t help but grab a few photos even if it’s the same thing from a different angle. These were just a few of the boats and the ships docked close to the Old Port of Santorini. Do you see that massive cruiser!😮
On the mention of cruise ships, would you do a cruise/have you done one or do you think it is something to do once retired? I myself would love to do a cruise right now!

About to board my flight, which means one step closer to seeing this guy!
We’ve still got a solid two weeks of quarantine between us, but after all these months apart it doesn’t seem like much (we’ll see how I feel about that 3 days in 🤓). Plan A kinda failed, but we have plan B to fall back on, so yeah really praying for a smooth travel journey 🤞🏼
If this year has taught me anything, it’s how little control I have over most things in life. And while that hasn’t been an easy lesson to learn, I really needed it. I still struggle sometimes with worrying and overthinking about what could go wrong, but these past few months have forced me to turn my focus from wanting to control to letting go and seeing that everything works out even when my hands aren’t the ones holding the reigns. And the more I practice it, the easier it becomes which is a cool bonus!!
Okay going to go watch 5 movies, eat 1 millions snacks, and maybe sleep for like 45 minutes. See ya in Koreaaaa!
social distancing has taught us (I hope) to take it slow, connect for real, cherish moments, self-care, and racism is the pandemic that we must consistently work on from the inside out. ♻️🌱
I’m ok with being further away from the world as long as it brings me closer to what truly matters... 🙏🏾🌱👑
I’ve been annoyingly persistent about drinking water daily in my stories. And I wrote a blog post about skincare. You know water has a lot to do with taking your skin to the next level. But for now I’m just sharing a @dermae turmeric mask. Click link in bio. 💦🌱
Look at those buffalos! Although we were on the lookout for the big five during our game drive, we came across so many other types of animals including these buffalos!
If you’ve been on a game drive, what were some unexpected animals that you saw?
