If Volcan de Pacaya was located in Australia there would be a 100km no go zone. In Guatemala, Antigua its a main tourist attraction with daily hikes to see the flowing lava!! 🌋🔥🌋🔥
I must admit I was pretty petrified but the adrenaline rush at the top was insane. It takes 600 degrees to melt rock so the heat was super intense, my camera stopped working temporarily. The soles of peoples shoes were melting off 🤣 but I highly recommend putting it on your bucket list for a once in a lifetime experience.
Everyone wants to ride elephants in Thailand. Including me at one point. That was until I heard about the dark side to elephant tourism that I'm sure many aren’t aware of. Long story short it's brutal. Whether you ride elephants or not is your choice. I try my best not to judge others because I’m acutely aware that we all have different moral codes & standards. Just make sure to educate yourself.
