This haveli is designed in the 18th-century style of architecture and is composed of lush courtyards 🌱, towers and hidden passageways to secret rooms. •
Sharing a bottle of bubbly 🍾 with our partner as we take in the beauty of the desert with a side of the cultural musical 🎼programs that happen every evening in the lawn.
Far far away in the Gangtey Valley of Bhutan, this gem 💎 is the cure to the chaos of modern living. Indulging in prayer and spiritual healing 😇 at the neighbouring monastery🏯 followed by a delectable breakfast spread is just the way to reset our mind and body.
Does this sound like your next vacay?

When you get to your connecting flight and realize the small regional jet they have you on can't fit your gear bag. Definitely not gate checking this, so I'll unpack and hand carry the rest of the way.
"That’s been one of my mantras: focus and simplicity. Simple can be harder than complex: You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple. But it’s worth it in the end because once you get there, you can move mountains.” - Steve Jobs
If you have the luxury, take a minute in your life to let this quote sink and ask yourself if it does make sense to you. If it does, what will be the smallest action you can take this week that will make it even more relevant for you tomorrow?
We embraced minimalism as it freed us from stuff that we did not really care about and let us travel the world forever. We don't see how we can live today without being minimalists.
Some of the best views of the islands!
They say the bay at the end of the long valley of Mgarr ix-Xini is Gozo’s most picturesque area. Abundant in natural beauty, the beautiful rocky coastline here offers one postcard-perfect view after another, some of the best of the islands.
From VisitGozo .com.
The bay was apparently an occasional hiding place for the Knights’ galleys and was also used by the invading Turks to load captive Gozitans onto the their ships in the worst-ever raid on the island in 1551.
The Knights’ watchtower that still stands guard over the entrance to the inlet was built in 1661. It is open to the public and the delightful path from the bay to the tower has been recently renovated.
👽 Vegas 👽
Checking out the views from the Stratosphere, hiking Red Rock Canyon and doing a tandem skydive are my top 3 of many fun things to do in Vegas. For videos see my YouTube channel 'Sian Victoria' or for photos scroll my feed way back or see blog✌
Personal trip in 2015 and 2016
This picture is taken on the top of Angels Landing, which gives you such an amazing view over Zion National Park.⠀
It is considered as one of the most dangerous hikes in the world... Let us just say you have to mind your steps while walking. ⠀
It was by far the most fun hike we ever did. It takes about 4 hours do to the hike. Try to go early to avoid the crowds.⠀
You can not walk the trail at winter conditions, which would make the hike too dangerous...⠀
After Angel’s Landing we hiked another three hours through out the world famous Narrows. Be prepared to get wet and chilly!⠀

The Belogradchik Fortress is situated among the Belogradchik Rocks, on the northern slope of the Balkan Mountains. ⛰
It is dating back to Roman times and has such an incredible role for the Balkan history. A Bulgarian cultural monument of national importance.🇧🇬
📖 Some Wikipedia facts and numbers:
The fortress's walls are over 2 metres (6.6 ft) thick in the foundation and reaching up to 12 m (39 ft) in height. Three separate fortified yards exist that are connected with each other through gates. The fortress has a total area of 10,210 square metres (109,900 sq ft). The rock formations in the area served as a natural protection, as fortified walls were practically only built from the northwest and southeast, with the yard being surrounded by rocks up to 70 m (230 ft) high from the other sides.
Initially, the Belogradchik Fortress served for surveillance and not strictly defense.

🌴 I'm in love with coconut trees 🌴
Je peux vous dire que l'ombre des cocotiers est bien appreciable en ce moment! En effet le mois d'octobre annonce ici les suivants : plus chauds et plus humides... 😅
Built in 18th century, the Belvedere Palace and its beautiful gardens are so impressive, that even the bad weather couldn't ruin my excitement. ✨ Seeing just once this Baroque landmark is not enough for me. Upper and lower Belvedere, and the gardens are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site. The works of international artists like Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet and Max Beckmann are making Belvedere even more outstanding.
Visit and see yourself. 🎨🎭
