This is Fanjingshan, an island of metamorphic rock in a sea of karst and is home to many ancient and relict plant and animal species. It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site back in 2018! ⠀⠀
This sacred Buddhist temple has an elevation of 2,570 meters. Would you go and visit? 🤔 ⠀⠀
Without a doubt, every step would be worth it! ⠀⠀

Like fashion statements Corona is like a wave, it appears to come and go and come again and will probably go again at some time.
So what to do? Sit and wait until it blows over or travel COVID style. Since I wasn't planning on staying at home for the summer and isolation is just not my thing nor healthy for a person (though for some it might be good to give it a try 😁) we went for option two.
We rented an RV last minute, got some masks and a s#*'t load of sanitizer and disinfectant and are happily cruising Europe. Providing us with maximum freedom, keeping track of new break-outs and enjoying beautiful Austria 🇦🇹 at the moment.
How does your summer look like?
At @green_lake_hotel_weiher you can enjoy Dolomites in a very peaceful way 🚵
Great food, the kindest people and the surrounding nature 🌾 (there is a lake just behind the hotel 🤩) are definitely a plus!
We had to change our summer travel plans because of pandemia, so we decided to get to know the beauty of our own country. Slovakia is full of beautiful places ❤️ We absolutely fell in love with our High Tatras mountains and we are proud of it. Are you travelling just in your own country or are you travelling abroad ? 🏞❤️🙏🏼
If you follow your bliss, you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while waiting for you, and the life you ought to be living is the one you are living. Follow your bliss and don’t be afraid, and doors will open where you didn’t know they were going to be ⚡️
Maybe you can relate, but lately I’ve been feeling like I need a break. To unplug from the news, the pandemic, and the uncertainty to just be. One impromptu trip later and I’ve found myself in the Appalachian mountains, a mountain range admittedly that I haven’t explored in much depth. Taking a moment of pause in a cabin on the mountainside, enjoying the simple things like small town life and the simple wonder of the sunrise and sunset over the mountains. Being here has helped, tremendously. I’m feeling much better already. Sometimes we don’t realize how much tlc we need until we take it.
So for anyone else feeling the same, a gentle reminder to do something that brings bliss and happiness to your day ☀️
Travel tip: there are tons of beautiful mountain cabins you can rent on Airbnb & VBRO. We found this one which was perfect for our needs. Send me a message if you’d like me to share the listing
