Best purchase I made in the winter of 2019: a $30 inflatable kayak. It’s been so much fun being able to get out on the water without breaking the bank and I couldn’t have done it at a better time since these things are a hot commodity now! However, I have learned that wind snd 🌊 do not mix well with the inflatable version of a kayak. 🙃

Easter Island ,🇨🇱
Easter Island is an island in the South Pacific Ocean belonging to Chile. Easter Island is especially famous for its bizarre 400-year-old statues. These statues, which line the shoreline, are called "moai". These statues have attracted a large number of tourists to the island every day. But the influx of tourists and immigrants is a threat to the island.
In 2007, a permit was issued to limit the number of tourists and foreign residents and their length of stay. According to the law, tourists and non-natives can stay on the island for 30 to 90 days.
What is it about railroad tracks that make them so mystical?
As a little girl, one of my favorite movies was 'Stand by Me.' It could have been my schoolgirl crush on River Pheonix that first introduced me to the film but it was the classic coming of age tale that kept me repeatedly watching it.
Now, every time I find myself in the presence of this view, I can't help wishing for an adventure.
“Stayed up all night on a spur of the moment trip after @matthoffmanwx , our local meteorologist, gave me a bit of much needed inspiration to take advantage.
What you are seeing is the Neowise Comet that is currently visible from Earth and putting on quite a show!” 💫

Some views are just too good to be true. Snow capped mountains are easily one of my favorite landscapes to photograph and explore. Adding a beautiful lavender field leading into the mountains feels like something straight out of a movie.
When I travel I love to stay open to different photo locations and that’s exactly how I found this place. After doing some research on the plane and talking to a cousin I decided to check it out. So I deviated a little from my plan and luckily I walked away with this beautiful photo.
Strolling around an Oregon icon. 🌿💦
After we completed the 9 mile hike and made it back to the car, I turned to @jmlongmusic and said “there’s one more shot I want to get, but we’ll have to walk an extra mile back on the trail to get it.” Jeremy asked if i thought it would be worth it, and I said “I hope so.” So we went back, and I’m very glad we did. Huge shoutout to @jmlongmusic for being a homie and being willing to put up with my shenanigans to “get the shot.”

Earths Shadow - Mt. Bachelor, OR
While you try and increase the odds, it’s always likely the sky and weather conditions won’t line up for that epic light. On the bluebird sunsets like this, I like the stick around and shoot the Belt of Venus. Which is really the earths shadow as the sun is unblocked below the horizon. Enjoy! 🍻
