Khuldhara : A haunted village
RIDE TO THE LAND OF KINGS
Day 9, 3:00 PM : The Safari that we signed up for, first took all of us to this partially abandoned village in the outskirts of Jaisalmer. Now, why partially abandoned? Okay. Here goes the backstory. The folklore one to be precise. It was said that the then minister of Jaisalmer was in love with a girl of this village and wanted to marry her. But, the whole village stood against it and for which the minister lost his minds. He hurt them so much that the whole villagers had to flee from there and also its said that the villagers cursed so that no one will ever be able to reside in the village, ever.
That's the interesting story circulated. Well, the geologists argue that there was a huge earthquake that happened long back and thus the village was needed to be abandoned then. The ruins show evidences of earthquake it seems. Well, indians love masala so much, don't we! I would say, its haunted. 😋
Also, the place has a non functioning temple, a haveli like building upfront and a shaded hut for anyone to sit under the shade. .
Experience Latea forest in unusual way - with the horse carriage.
Latea forest is only sub tropical forest in Europe and it is busting with amazing wild life and, out of this world, nature and landscapes.
We are looking forward to host you and to show you the wonders of Danube Delta.

Walking the streets of LA like..... #throwback when I was in LA I was like I am not coming back to LA .. bcoz I didn’t see what was the hype about! I actually enjoyed the nature and the landscape more than the LA center.. bcoz of the LA long traffic and no Metro 🚋 .. and no city center like NYC .,,I was always annoyed with the slow traffic while driving around LA ..but now I’ve changed my mind.. I want to go back to LA ,, just for the nature the big SUe drive and my woman crush @natalia 🥰🤩
