| “Behind the mountain ranges in the quiet town of Alamada in North Cotabato, hides a unique water falls where streams of water rush down a mountain cliff wall covered with lush green vegetation. According to locals, prior to being known to public, Asik-Asik falls used to be covered by tall bamboos and trees but later on wept out by a series of floods and the people from a nearby village were then all amazed to see the hidden beauty of the falls.”

The Chocolate Hills of Bohol, such a majestic landscape 😊 can you believe there are 1,776 of these hills over 50 sq km!! In the dry season the grass dries up turning chocolatey brown hence their name 😊
Something I first learned about late last year was these beautifully handcrafted Caraga Manobo Dolls from Agusan Del Sur 🎎 Bought a small one to bring in good energy for our tiny home.
The Manobo’s have a wooden doll called ‘ompo’ tucked in their ceilings to ward off negative entities. The colors they use all have meanings. Red is for bravery and community protection, black/blue for royalty, yellow for life and optimism, and white for wholeness.
These dolls aim to preserve and showcase the Manobo culture and providing livelihood to artisans in the region such as painters, beaders and wood carvers 🤎
...dreamin of the serene brutality of the ocean. 😌 where the calming ocean hues rejuvenates the mind, body and spirit. As the cliche goes, the beach makes everything better. Dont you think so? 🙋🏻♂️
