🌎Hoi An, Vietnam
📷@intoourtrip «Hoi An is amazingly beautiful at night!
Walking around the streets after the sunset is a MUST!
Most of the stores, bars and restaurants are decorated with this beautiful little lanterns that create a unique vibe in the whole old quarter.
The perfect way to spend time is Hoi An is simply walking through the streets and that makes it one of the most pleasant cities to visit.»

Day 287 : Hiking 7h uphill for this 😍
⛰We took a 2D1N trekking tour to Mt Rinjani Senaru crater rim with Ary Trekking
🎒We were a small group of 4 with a friendly guide and 2 strong porters that carried our tent, sleeping bag, mattress, food and cooking utensils for the stay
🏞We climbed nearly 2000m altitude in 7h, but when we arrived to the top and discovered this view we totally forgot all our effort
What is the last place that left you speechless?

Ankit and I have been rebels in our own ways, he give a good thought and then never goes back on his word. I follow my intuitive heart and stand by my emotional quotient. Although I feel like I am being the one to give in these days and agree easily. All this marriage talks and elders' decision has made my world doodle and my only relief station is Ankit.
With him, I can voice my thoughts real-time and revise them time and again, unworried about the judgement that could follow. It hardly does. He has been my nest all these years, there's no looking elsewhere. Sometimes I am too much for myself to handle but he is always enough for me. I wonder how in the cosmos world did my stars reached the right person in him, but that's a thought for some other day.
In my words, I call it acceptance. There are hurdles and we are sailing fairly well. I gotta show immense patience amidst all the drama.
There's more to our story but I am here and so are you to read our microtales, aren't you?
Zhangjiajie is one of those places that you would think you could only conjure up though imagination.. like natures own serrated green teeth... that haven’t seen a dentist in some time... but remarkably beautiful all the same 🙌 🌎
One day this will be twenty years ago! 🧳
Josh had a well-person (check-up) doctor appointment yesterday and found that his cholesterol levels are elevated. Thankfully, he found a doctor who values nutrition & exercise as actual means to health care rather than just prescribing pills.
When I heard elevated cholesterol, I immediately got defensive. We eat mostly healthy and exercise, I share it with you right here. But rather than let my ego get in the way I reached out to a trusted friend (and registered dietitian) for recommendations & started doing some research and REALLY looking at our diet. ..
We found we need to increase soluble fiber (beans, oats, etc) and decrease the amount of red meat (those burgers Josh makes are so bomb but not need on the weekly menu😬), same with sausage & bacon and fructose aka Fruit sugar. Yep! Josh eats a lot of fruit. A whole banana in his shakeology, an apple plus another serving depending on what's available. And this has an affect on the liver, I'll include the link with more info about it.
The point is:
1. Get check-ups because an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. We're going to tackle this before there's a stroke or heart attack!
2. Toss your ego out the door and identify those changes you CAN make. Take responsibility for you health!
3. Do some damn research before adding a pill, you just don't know (and neither do the drug companies) fully what true side effects medications will have. Your health is priceless!!! Xo Denise
This is me, standing in the quietest and most calming place I have ever been.
Where do you think it is?
This is in Hoonah, Alaska. The fog rolls in HARD here, and the water is like glass. It’s like everything is standing still around you and you almost don’t want to breathe to disrupt it.
This is my favorite place on the planet. Not only because of the feeling you get standing there looking out at what feels like the edge of the world, but when that fog rolls away, the view is unlike anything you’ve ever seen.
@packedagain, a Swiss family blogger asked in her post today if anyone would like to travel long term, she explained that she couldn’t, as she think she wouldn’t be able to homeschool her kids and she and her family are very happy where they are!
I don’t know anything about homeschooling so I can’t comment on that! But I do want to talk about what we think about long term travel. I know by the fact that many people and families don’t want to travel long term for many reasons.
To be honest, I admire them! That they can enjoy their life as it is and seems truly happy! David and I have been talking about this a lot, about how having a wanderlust can be a curse sometimes! Always wanting to be somewhere else.
But traveling long term is not always about the traveling itself! We realized it when we started to travel as a family! Now traveling long term is more about investing full time on our family and ourself as parents. Having time to build and shape our little girl’s heart and give her the best first years of her life in the best way we can! .
I am not trying to say that you are bad parents because you don’t travel the world with your kids! Nor do I want to put pressure on other families who can’t or won’t travel long term! I am sure you guys are awesome parents no matter the availability, the decision or desire!
This is our decision and our desire and we can do it! And we have been loving every minutes since we left over a year ago! But yes there has been doubts, before leaving and sometimes even now! But our daughter is so happy and doing so well so with that we know that at the end we made the right decision!
So for the families our there who wants to travel long term and CAN do it but don’t dare to. JUST DO IT!❤️ I can’t garanti that you won’t regret it but we haven’t meet any long term traveling families who does regret it!
I’ll runaway anywhere with you 👣
In one day we managed to catch 7 trains and visit 4/5 of these beautiful little towns. Vernazza is definitely a gem, so colorful, surrounded by delicious smells of pizza and fried fish and jaw dropping views 😍 can’t wait till my next visit there ❤️

Where did you stay in Santorini?🇬🇷 Many of you have asked us this question in recent weeks. We stayed in a Hotel in Finikia🏠 a small village 2km from Oìa. If you want to know the name of the hotel you can DM us📩 Why not Oìa? Because in August it‘s very crowded and hotel prices are generally the highest in the island💶 Finikia is a perfect compromise because it’s very close to Oìa (we have reached it on foot a few times) and it‘s definitely cheaper than Oìa. Have you ever been to Santorini?💙 ________________________________________________________
