The north island of New Zealand was beautiful and I’m so far lovely the south!

✨Can you guess where they are?✨
On a different note I have only edited these photos with a filter. I’ve definitely gained weight on this trip and I’m ok with it since I’m been eating some amazing food and not getting as much exercise as I do back home😬
It’s taken me while to post these photos as I did really want to alter them but I didn’t.
In today’s society it’s about looking perfect. Editing photos/alternating the way you look to fit in and I’m not going to lie I’ve done that and I know the reasons I’ve done it is because I lack confidence. I’m still not that confident but I don’t see the point anymore in altering photos apart from a little filter. •
✨Do you notice when people have over edited?✨
I hope you have a absolutely wonderful day and make the most of it!
Let me know what you accomplished! #jessicaanneh

I anticipated the grit and pandemonium, which I’ve come to associate with our world’s cities, but I wasn’t prepared for the constant rumble and colossal number of Hanoi’s scooters. They’re everywhere. Traversing intersections with a herd-like mentality, fearlessly brushing past you when maneuvering through overly-crowded alleyways, and littering the sidewalks — sometimes parked too closely like staged dominoes, other times haphazardly wedged between a random pole and a cart. It was unsettling to me. Eventually, though, I became desensitized to their presence. I crossed streets with natural timing, weaving through the scooters without notice, and accepted the persistent hum of the motors as the city’s pulsing heartbeat. #bootscootinboogie
Our final days in Chubut, Argentina and we shall not forget that the largest known creature to roam this planet was discovered here, just 100 million years after its death. The Patagotitan Mayorum (pic 1) makes all those brontosaurus and T-Rex look like child's play. This beast was more than twice that of your elementary school brontosaurus: 37 meters long and 77 tons in weight. In the third pic, Elisa stands next to one of the animal's foot bones! Together with this plant eater they found the Tyrannotitan Chubutensis (pic 2), the meat eating scavenger who fed on animals like this, who is about the same size as the North American Rex, albeit about 30 million years older. It's amazing what travel can do to you, yeah, like teach you unbelievable, incredible things about the world you live in.

No winter lasts forever; no spring skips its turn.
Backpacking can be a very efficient way of traveling, especially if you have a lot of destinations to see over an extended stay✨
When backpacking people typically stay at inexpensive lodging like a hostel and sometimes meet locals to guide them through new travel locations & destinations. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• #sizije#traveltips#goabroad#travelsmart#traveltipguide#travelguide#travelwise
Wherever you go, remember to respect the nature and to consume natural resources wisely. Give your respect to the local people and their culture, and if possible, favor services and products provided by locals.
Trying to blend in...don't think it's working
I wasn't exactly comfortable getting dressed up in traditional Hmong clothing, but my friend Hien and her mother were very insistent. .
This particular set belongs to Hien's older brother, who is "very tall". With a lot of help, I was able to squeeze into it. .
These clothes are made of hemp fibers and dyed in large vats of an indigo, water and lime solution. The cloth is sewn into garments and intricately decorated with embroidery. The vest has a sheen to it which is produced by rubbing the hemp with stones.
Unlike synthetic dyes, indigo doesn't fade. Garments that are decades old look much the same as those made yesterday. .
It was an honor to wear something that required so much hard work and craftsmanship, even for a few minutes. . #blackhmong#sapa#lifelikealocal#craftsmanship#travel#travelwise
Check out our latest blogpost on the three best places to visit in Europe voted for by #reddit .
Can you guess where they are folks? Hint, one is known as 'the G spot of Europe' as advertised from the country in tourist ads.
Think with your soul.
Follow your heart and intuition - ESPECIALLY when it doesn’t make sense.
Just think of all the things you could do if you weren’t so damn afraid.

*Broken foot problems and fake friends🤚🏻🚫* This photo sums up how I’ve been travelling for the past 3 months 😝 Travelling with a broken foot is quite easy actually, however, what’s really interesting is how fast you learn who your real friends are when things go down hill, and you can no longer whiz your way across London for a mimosa brunch🤔
I’m saying this with no bitterness as I’m a huge believer that things happen for a reason - life is a journey and if we choose to go through it intelligently and with kindness, we’ll soon learn that what was never true or meant for us would make its way away from us anyway. I find it exciting to be able to go through life (or limp through it, given my current state 😝), knowing there are so many lessons to be learnt, so many things to experience.
As you might’ve noticed, my recent posts have been getting more raw and honest - and that’s because I’m genuinely tired of the constant search for perfection, on Instagram and in ‘real’ life. There’s so much beauty in what’s broken and imperfect and these are the things I really enjoy sharing - especially since I always feel that there must be someone, somewhere who can relate, and perhaps reading this make them feel a little bit less alone 💕
