Ain’t No Complaints ______________
I mean I could complain about not being able to actually ride the Ferris wheel. But instead I’ll be thankful that I’m healthy enough to be able to just witness its beauty! _____________ What are you grateful for today? ____________ (1 Thessalonians 5:18) Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Tyrone, our kiwi camper that totally shaped our travels from the moment we arrived 🇳🇿
It all started on a very early morning in Bali. We’d had the bright idea to do the volcano trek up Mount Batur for sunrise (it was very special when we reached the top!) which meant a 1.30am start. After a quick post-hike pizza for lunch, we had a nap which became one of those sleeps that leaves you thinking “what year is it!?” when you open your eyes.
Dazed, I toddled out to sit by the pool in my tiny PJs 🥴
And that’s where I met our pals Annie & Linton! We hit it off straight away and agreed to go for dinner in Ubud that night. We talked all things travels and campervans (and laughed at Linton’s love of mayonnaise) before spending hours sat chatting by the pool.
It was their advice to get a campervan in New Zealand that convinced us it was doable and the best way to see the country - it really is!
We met up again and again on our Bali trip and went snorkelling, ate at cool warungs and enjoyed many a night at Kynd Cafe. Thanks for your influence you two 😘 Looking forward to catching up (in Canada 🤞🏼 or back home) someday soon.
And as for Tyrone, there’s no better camper we could have wished for ❤️
He’s now up on a market while we finish off our South Island road trip, a year on, after being such a big part of every step we’ve taken here. Filled with Kmart cushions when we moved into our apartment, filled with backpacks when we moved out! Our little sanctuary during lockdown. Our home on wheels during our travels.
I’ll always remember our times with him 🚐❤️ #LMWorldTrip#LMVanLife

Adventure is out there, question for YOU below!✈️
Being restricted on traveling this summer/year has brought me to more local spots, rather than focusing on a big trip! Blessing in disguise maybe? It’s definitely interesting seeing more of your home state or country, whether it be restaurants, parks, new cities/towns, or new activities.
For me, I’ve been to Newport a few times, planning trips to Block Island and Providence, found a couple of awesome bars, going to the beach more often, and going to the gym! I’ve also had the opportunity to visit friends in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Connecticut!
What are some things you’ve done, eaten, or seen in your local area?!🌴🌸🌞

Are we out of the woods yet?
I thought this situation would ruin our vacation, but in the end everything turned out very well
