Exactly a year ago, I started climbing mountains.
It was a big shift from being such a nerd and book junkie studying International Relations, now into a full-time mountaineer covered with sweat and dirt.
Having hike-long chats with the guides and local residents made me aware of their genuine sentiments over local and national policies on mining, hunting, forest conservation, indigenous customary laws, and even communist movement (lol, yes you can befriend the leftists peacefully living on these mountains).
I mean, why else are we here if not to live with unreasonable passion for things? To learn the stories of different people not just to share them, but to actually hear their stories with empathy, keep them as an inspiration, breathe and live with it.
Check my IG stories for my mountaineering anniversary hike (Mt. Pinatubo)
Vid compilation of my most memorable hikes is also on my youtube channel. Would be really grateful if you can share some love by subscribing and help me reach 100 subscribers. Link on my bio.
To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else, is the greatest accomplishment ❤️

Exactly a month ago, I decided to create my own travel blog. I always enjoy reading other people's travel blogs and I got inspired to create my own 💕 I wrote about this hidden gem in Kobe on my latest blog post. Link in bio 💖
It's exactly one year since I quit my corporate job. This day last year, I didn't know what to do with my life, I didn't know what's in store for me after I submitted my resignation, all I knew was I'm so done investing time on the things that I don't really love. That's how I decided to pursue my passion and improve where I'm good at instead, and I now wake up everyday with no regrets.
