Whether you are a salon owner or and independent stylist, running your own business can feel overwhelming and an uphill climb.
One foot in front of the other. You cannot know how this will all end up. There are no rule books. Nobody knows.

Tuesday Tip... why choosing a good mortgage lender is so important
💥New Campaign Alert💥 “Getting Peachy - Farm2People’s Stonefruit Drive” 🍑
We are launching a new campaign #tuesdayvibes to bring Delicious, Local Stonefruit to the Community! 📢
🍇 Why Stonefruit? #tuesdaythoughts Because local, California stonefruit is famously excellent. In fact, California produces a whopping 95% of all nectarines (the peach’s fuzzy cousin) for the entire USA! #tuesdaytip So our friends and neighbors here in LA should definitely reap the benefits of this legacy California harvest!🥭
Why now? ‘Tis the season! Plus, due to the continued disruption of the pandemic, there is an ABUNDANCE of Stonefruit and a deficit of buyers. #tuesdaytruth So what better gift can we bring to our community than these sun-kissed tree fruits?
Deets - We’ve identified an organic, local farm with 4000lbs (that’s 2 tons !!!) of 🍑 nectarine 🥭 that they can’t sell. So we are raising the funds to go and get them! #traveltuesday
NECTARINES are loaded with vitamin A, vitamin C, and potassium. #tuesdaytreat These nutrients naturally boost metabolism, digestion, and heart health! Though they are almost identical genetically to peaches, these fuzzy covered relatives are a California classic. 💖
Now, all we need is YOU. #transformationtuesday 🙏Your micro-donations go a long way to fight hunger and also to boost spirits and overall health of LA communities in need! You can make a quick difference! Can’t afford a donation right now? Please share our post with your buddies! Whatever you can do, we appreciate you! #goodnewstues

Small Business Tip: Keep your sense of humor
Laughing is a good cure to diffuse stress, infuse some lightheartedness into life and get some perspective on the fact that, hey, this is only life after all -- you don’t have to take it so seriously.
Having a sense of humor keeps others from making your skin crawl and keeps you calm, cool, and collected.
One of our favorite moments of the design process is watching how our clients incorporate their new brand into their specific collateral! We love the look of these custom tags for local boutique, @trufflepigtn!
We say this often, but it's worth the reminder: Branding goes so much further than a simple logo! It's all about connection and a fully integrated customer experience. Is your brand being utilized in creative and memorable ways? Are you relying on just a logo for brand recognition?
These are important and impactful questions! We'd love to help you with this process through a customized brand audit! You can find out more and set up your consultation call on our website! #CopperheartCreative#BrandingAgency

Holly here! Ya'll know me, I'm a Aussie and a foodie, so being able to have the flexibility to dine out and eat a variety of foods is really important. What are the key things to consider when eating out? The amount of thought and planning that goes into my meal selections really depends on what stage I am with my nutrition goals.
Fat Loss is going to be most challenging for everyone so here is how I do it.
1. Plan ahead - I typically leave about 30-50% of my carbohydrate and fats. I'll use the lower end when my calories are tough & the upper end when they aren't too bad. I do not advise fasting to facilitate high calorie foods. This has been shown to result in over eating & is not optimal for hypertrophy.
2. Choose your main meal first & decide which protein source you want - Chicken or Fish if my fats are low (<20g). Beef, whole eggs, bacon if my fat calories are high (>20g).
3. Decide what carbohydrate you prefer. Bread appetizer? Mac n cheese? Fries for a side? Cocktail or dessert? Typically I don't have enough carbs for all the things I want, so I'll choose based on what sounds best! If I couldn't fit dessert, maybe I'll have that next time!
4. Fat? Due to the cooking methods used when eating out (frying in oil & butter) or the use of full fat products, fat content is already going to be high. I suggest removing added fats, as this may enable you to have more of something else you actually enjoy (i.e. another bread roll or glass of wine 😝). I always ask for no oil or butter, no cheese, avocado, dressings & sauces or have them served on the side for ease of tracking.
What do you hold off on to keep calories on track & whats the one thing you like to save up for? ☺️
Use a row counter 😃 It helps you keep track of how far you have come! You can strap it to your finger and then just click on it after each row. When the digital row counter is off, it remembers the last entry. It's super smart 😍

💭 I felt a bit nostalgic going back to my Alma Mater FIU. As I walked through it, I remembered all the experiences and fun I had while I was studying. Those years were truly great, especially because I got to meet amazing people and make some many wonderful friends.
💭 Showing you these two pictures (graduation day 2014, Chemistry degree ➡️ present, Certified Personal Trainer + Fitness Nutrition Specialist), I want you to remember that life is all about constant changes, constant evolution, constant progress. There is no really much time to be stuck in a something we don't like or don't want...
💭 If you give yourself the chance to change, life will surprise you in the most amazing ways...! ❤️
💭 We only life once, take advantage to become who you really want to be and keep going 😘🙌
