Waking up at 3.30 in the morning has never been more worth doing (and also has never been easier after spending the night on the lodging room's floor). In utter darkness and pouring rain, while keeping the noble silence and passing the impressive Buddha statue on the way, my group of temple novices was marching to the compound's Main Buddha Hall in order to attend the regular sound meditation and chanting ceremony. What started as a bit of a hustle for me, trying to follow and imitate the monks' choreography-like routine of bowing, kneeling and precise arm and leg positioning, felt surprisingly comfortable after a while as the chanting continued. And eventually, with every stroke of the gong, I had the sense of slightly advancing towards the aim of clearing one's mind. - "Memories of the future"

Never stop dreaming. On a summer day when I was in elementary and I was on vacay at my cousin’s house. Curiosily, I pulled a slab of thick white book and blue printed World Almanac, read a note that it was a gift for my cousin. Took it in a corner by the window and kept scanning It was picture reading at that time. I stocked when I saw the picture of Mt. Everest, ran down my eyes and it’s the highest mountain on earth. From then on, I kept that picture in my mind that someday I’ll get to trek and see you eye to eye. Here I am finally, sitting solemnly without words staring at Mt. Everest. The dream that unfolds right in front of my naked eyes. ☑ Solo Everest Base Camp Trek 🏳 💪🏼🏔🇳🇵
