This is for all of you that message me saying you’re missing the outdoors... that you’re feeling suffocated and on the brim of loosing your minds. 𝐈 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝! I felt the same last night & THIS is what made me feel at so much 𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐄 💓
Watch and listen and then close your eyes and just 𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐍 to the sound of the waves crashing 🌊

Day #6 sweet memories! 🚙 In January 2015 we went for our first road trip ever on Australian Coasts! The twelve Apostles was one of our very first stop and what a stop!
The great ocean Road was a perfect start for a road trip of a lifetime! Five years later we are still living half of the time like nomads on a different continent, different climate but life on the road always makes us happy! This feeling of total freedom, waking up every day in a different place, sleeping on amazing spots with sounds of ocean or forest (sometimes highway I give you that one! Ha!) This is in Australia that we discovered that way of living, we never thought it would be our thing but here we are, not ready to stop... I mean when all this crazy Coco situation will be over of course 😬 for now our van is resting 💞
Zatem tajemnica #soon , a przeprowadzka dokładnie w piątek! 🙈 PS. Już tylko 9h czasu różnicy między nami! To jest powód do radości, bo łatwiej z Wami porozmawiać 😍
Another smile to survive somehow.. 💪 I don't have anything interesting to write today. The situation is unchanged, and if something changes already it's worse than was. Sooo... Let's enjoy the moment! 💕 On the photo ,,The 12 Apostles'', the most photographed attraction of Australia. It's impressive... The "postcard" - photo that you liked so much comes from the beach, another part of this attraction. You can find them on my feed a few posts before. These beaches behind me are closed to visitors, which is why they look so magical and wonderful...⛱️ On the weekend I was to reveal a secret, who looked at stories knew what I mean😉 But looking for a flat took all my time. So... #soon secret, and moving in exactly on Friday!🙈 And news! Only 9h time difference between us! This is a reason to be happy, because it's easier to talk to all of you😍
It’s been a rough couple of weeks for everyone.
The COVID-19 landscape is constantly changing and it’s hard to get a grip on what that means for us all.
With new regulations due to come into effect from midnight tonight, we’ve decided to close our accomodation.
We do this with the safety & wellbeing of our local community in mind.
For as long as we are able to, we will offer take-away beers & pizza to those who live locally.
Port Campbell is a small community, a seaside community, built on the strength of local people weathering storms and helping each other.
So now, we ask you to respect our community - leave us to bunker down together and ride this current storm out.
For those of your that have stayed with us in the past - we thank you for your support.
We will be here to welcome you back to The Port Campbell Hostel when it is safe to do so.
In the meantime, stay home, stay safe and be kind.
Another pretty pic to help us all through these tough times!
Keep it up, everyone!

G r e a t O c e a n R o a d ~ twelve apostles, ocean views for days 🌊 mix match of weather ⛅️ and climbing like mountain goats on a cliff to see a lighthouse 🐐 so glad we did this spontaneous lil road trip 😍 missing you both!
Detail of Cornelia Parker’s flattened silver- thirty pieces.. Created in 1988. This piece comprises of 5 circles of thirty pieces x 6 rows deep. Suspended about a foot from the floor by hundreds of fine wires, each ‘disc’ is approximately 90cm in diameter and they are always hung in orderly rows, although their overall configuration is adapted each time to the space in which the work is displayed.

🌞 Bye Great Ocean Road 🌞

I walk out to the shore
alone, even if others are around me
I step out of the world for a moment
I leave my body
and travel to where my eyes gaze
I hover at some distance
looking into the infinity of the oceans horizon
below me the slow, incessant undulation of the swell.
My eyes follow the rollers in,
I watch the momentum gather
the white crests begin to form
roiling white breakers now
I see my stone body cleave the wave in half
feel the salt and hear the whoosh of it’s breaking upon me
I am immobilized by this
entranced by the repetition
by the inception of a motion
way out there beyond my line of sight
by its journey to meet me.
It came all this way just for me to break it
and I stand here, time-less
absorbing the last rays -
before the night falls over me. ————————————————————————
Inspiration: The twelve apostles have this effect of being akin to people looking out to sea, especially when the sunset lights the top of them. We (humans) often see ourselves or our feelings reflected in inanimate objects or even in animals (anthropomorphism) and while we must realize that we are actively attaching ourselves to these things, it can be interesting to imagine ourselves out in these objects. Sometimes it gives me respite to know that this emotional baggage is mostly just human and there is no humanistic qualities to these rocks. When they inevitably fall into the ocean there is no sadness, no negativity - it’s just a thing that happened. If you look at it that way it’s kind of freeing - to view the world with a little less ego. We are just visiting after all. I remember that day, I was travelling along the Great Ocean Road and the Twelves Apostles were stunning as a postcard.
Was April, there were 10/15 degree max and actually i was the only one swimming but.. how not to do it?! 🦋 #twelveapostles#australia
