🍽 Hot Beef Sandwich
I think it’s impossible to beat a hot beef sarnie. 😋 This was absolutely lush, and was served with proper chips! The beef was so tender and just fell apart in your mouth - I’m making myself hungry again just writing this! 🤤 -
We've eaten well today. This open lasagne of chorizo and pork belly, tenderstem broccoli and parmesan cream at @theforgefood was rich and decadent... and part of its January deal of two courses for £12! Considering this dish would normally cost £12 on its own, it's such a bargain!
The Forge is one of my new favourite restaurants and I love that it's just on my doorstep.

CALORIE DEFICIT GUIDE
(How to set your calories for guaranteed fat loss)
Use the above picture as a guide for setting the deficit for your next cut.
To use it you just multiply your weight in pounds by the figures in the green box relevant to your goal.
8to10kcals(max 2 weeks)
This is a very aggressive and unsustainable deficit for most people.
Generally we wouldn't recommend going this low.
It will risk muscle loss.
Is not for the inexperienced dieter.
If you are doing this one make sure you increase your protein intake.
This is a more sustainable but still aggressive deficit, so should only be used for shorter/"mini" cuts.
Has a slightly increased risk of muscle loss if protein isn't adequate.
Is ideal for being used between bulking phases.
If you go too long on this level of a deficit, you will feel like shit and training could suffer.
Refeeds are recommended (to be covered later)
This is a very sustainable level of deficit.
This is the best choice for more longer term deficits.
And poses the least risk to muscle loss.
Also allows you to have more of a life.
If you would like more info on setting up a fat loss plan, we have a free guide if you get in touch.
This assumes you are active and you train.
And obviously as with all calorie estimates they are just a guide and won't fit every individual(NEAT varies nassively) , so you adjust based on how you respond.
I’ve had a few new followers recently so thought it would be fun to know a bit more about me! I’m Chloe, I’m 40 next year & that’s scary 🙈 I grew up in Norfolk with my parents & 2 sisters where I stayed until I was 27. One day realised I was going to be living at home forever if I didn’t do something dramatic .. so I decided to move to London! 💂🏻♂️I packed my bags and headed off to the big city - a pretty bold decision for a shy girl from Norwich but the best i ever made. I lived in a house share in Wimbledon, worked in the city & had an amazing 5 years making great new friends & drinking too much wine! 🍷On my 30th birthday I decided to lose weight, I’d been very overweight my whole life and it was making me sad so I joined Weight Watchers. I loved having something to focus on & threw myself into it losing 9 stone, dropping 5 dress sizes & writing a blog about my journey. 👗 I became friends with a fella called Simon who had started commenting on my blog - he lived in Newcastle & was losing weight too. He did a 16 hour round trip by coach to come down to London for the day, we had our first kiss by a bin in Victoria Coach Station (that always makes me laugh!) and started a long distance romance! 🥰 I came up to Newcastle every few weeks to see my man & soon realised I was falling in love ... with an amazing new city! A year into our relationship I left London behind and relocated to the North East! It was 2013 and I moved to a city where I knew no one with a boy I barely knew! Seems kinda crazy now 😂 I started writing New Girl in Toon sharing my passion of the North East which helped me to make loads of great new friends ❤️ In 2016 we got married in Northumberland and the rest is history ... anyone still awake after all that? 👀
