The chapel dedicated to the Nativity of Our Lady known as Ta' Casha in Rabat, Malta.
Information snippets provided by Emanuel V. Schembri. - The church was first built in 1550. - It was founded by Vince Qasha' and present building was already present in 1636. - The spire and the cross on the facade were rebuilt on the 20th of November 1919.
- The bell was cast at the St. Carlo's Foundry in 1931.
- There is a cemetery in front of the church were Carmelite Friars are buried.
- In WWII it served as a shelter for Maltese refugees.
- Mass is celebrated and the Rosary recited occasionally in May and October.
- The church is also known as il-Knisja ta’ Maria Bambina tar-Rabat.

Candle House & my first somewhat Christmassy post // Desperately searching for a little calm and a little beauty in this time of complete upheaval and uncertainty. Our little island is under the spotlight for so many wrong and hurtful reasons. I honestly and genuinely hope that the tides will turn, and that we can start to pick up the pieces and return to a semblance of normality once again.
