"Take different classes from different aspects of English. You never know, you might develop an interest in a field you never thought you would like. A lot of it is about trial + error and whatever route you take is not wrong." We reached out to our final year capstone students for what advice they'd give to new students and this is what they told us.

Over the past semester, the @uoftmississauga lecturer has shown up at class wearing vintage woolen capes, Victorian dresses and even black, bird-like leather plague mask. 👗

I haven’t really been on social media lately... I’ve pretty much been living at the library & writing essays. This is by far my busiest time of year, and the past couple days my blood sugars have been stubbornly high from all of the stress... and the high blood sugar fatigue is really not helping right now
But I know I’m going to get through this, just like I have in past years. It’s always difficult, and honestly I’m feeling very overwhelmed right now. But I keep reminding myself to take it day by day, & make my health the priority
So I’m heading back to my essays now... I might not be as active on here (wifi’s usually not too great down in the archives haha) but I’m still here & so grateful you’re here with me! Happy finals season! 💙
