Every year all over the world Marines celebrate our birthday. #244
First time at the ball and had so much fun I’m surprised I got as many pictures as I did. Hanging out with all the marines from the unit, and our dates, met a Major General and Medal of Honor recipient at the ball, and one of my favorite fighters @dc_mma while out in Tulsa. All in all a great 1st ball for me #oorah#usmc
Deep deep deep down in your soul, you KNOW you’re much more capable than you’re currently being. .
It is this knowing, that keeps you awake at night, keeps you feeling like something is missing, and creates that feeling of emptiness. .
This is a call to action. It is a call to action from your soul, it is screaming at you to listen to the call, to take action, to DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. .
Don’t be another statistic, another human body on this earth simply passing the time and watching the time pass you. .
You WILL die. Make sure you’ve done something worth remembering when that time comes. Go forth and seek your full potential. #warriorathlete#forgednotborn

Life is a war. And there are people out there, and there are things out there that are trying to take you down. Things are gonna go wrong. And when things go wrong , it’s pretty easy just to say “ You know what? I’m gonna stand down, or i’m gonna give up.” And you can do that. But I think no. I think no, I think keep fighting. And you keep fighting, and you keep fighting no matter what. And you never quit.. Never quit. And if you feel like your life is in a place where you can’t get any lower, and you don’t think you can find any way out, GOOD. Because that means the ultimate challenge is ahead of you, it means you can only go up. And it also means things are gonna be tough. Things are gonna be tougher that anything you can imagine, but that storm your in, from your perspective, it’s seems like that storm is enveloping the whole world. But i am telling you it’s not. The storm that you’re in, it is hard to see out of that storm, it’s hard to see past it, it seems like the storm is everything. But the storm is not everything. And it won’t last forever. You can get out of the storm, and you will get out of the storm, and when you get out, you will see the sun again. But right now, you’re being tried. You’re being forged, you’re being tested by fire and by pain. Thats the test. Don’t fail the test, don’t give in, don’t quit. Don’t ever quit. Fight on. Fight through the storm. Fight through the pain and come out the other side stronger, and tougher, and better. A fighter. A survivor. A winner. Victorious. And free from the storm. Free from darkness. Free. Life can be hard. But you know what? It’s the one life you got. - Jocko Willink

When you hear about all the raging plans your buddies have back home on their 3 day weekend, but you’re on a training exercise—again. Twist-you are genuinely happy for them and don’t feel sorry for yourself because you volunteered to be where you’re at, and love your job and life
“Love always leads to something great” - Fred🐾❤️🌎
This weekend was incredible for many reasons. For everyone who’s read #CraigandFred (thank you!) and for those who’ve followed along on social media. You’ve heard about Joe. We served in Sangin, Afghanistan together during some of the most intense fighting of the conflict.
I personally witnessed Joe repeatedly expose himself to Taliban fire while communicating with his fellow RECON Marines. His total disregard for his own safety almost cost him everything when a snipers bullet struck him in the helmet. But 9 years later, here he is. Marrying the love of his life and starting another incredible chapter. I was honored to be a groomsman and stand by his side as he & Amy made their commitments to one another in front of friends, family & god.
During the reception we brought Fred down to join the party. We didn’t take enough pictures but the ones we’ve got demonstrate to me that no matter where we start in life or how hard things might get, there is always a purpose and there is always a reason to wag your tail.
We’re having a great time in Colorado and we’re looking forward to more adventures in the coming weeks!🐾📚🏔❤️
