The prettiest little red-winged blackbird, singing back and forth with her one true love. If you ever see cattails that have been shredded, it’s probably because these little ones have been dining there.

I've been doing my part to help #flattenthecurve as I finally did my first hike of the year on March 16th. There were no people up here. This particular day took longer than expected, leaving me to hike down in the dark. I always tell myself snowshoes won't be needed; later finding out life that afternoon would have been much easier had I did. Trudging 600 feet up a mountainside in knee and waist deep snow was worth it. Dale Peak at 7,376 ft. is a favorite of mine.
This quarantine has been tough on me, as it probably is with many of you. I’m a very social person and being single and not having family to be quarantined with kind of sucks. It‘s not exactly fun to be alone every single day. Without going to the office or the gym, I’ve been going a little stir crazy. So getting outside today was a breath of fresh air, literally. I encourage everyone to spend some time outdoors, it’s good for your mental health!

I was supposed to be in Tucson this week celebrating with my birthday twin...but the universe had different plans for us. So instead I worked, and I’m just grateful to be one of the few left in the travel industry with a job, to be in good health, and to have recent memories of our last adventure in the desert. Thank you COVID for helping me appreciate what I had all along. ✨
Throwing it back to one of my first temple images ever taken. I m was on a date with my wife and I begged her to wait a few seconds so I could take a photo. This post-production edit included only slide ruler edits and global adjustments. I'm not much better now at editing but I can remove unwanted dirty snow. ___________________________________________________________ 📸: @kwoodyphoto ____________________________________________________________ #utah#lds#mormon#ldstemple#Provo
the past couple days have been really tough chronic pain wise. like all time high could really go for an ER trip for pain meds because none of my home stuff is working type high. •••
you’d think that being able to stay home and not having to go to work would be like the chronic pain patient dream because you don’t have to get up and do anything...but it’s not because it throws off your whole routine. which EVERYONE is experiencing right now, no doubt. •••
it threw off my daily distractions that I sort of rely heavily on to keep me busy and not thinking about the pain 24/7. but here we are. all sitting around. trying to figure out what to do while we stay home to keep us busy. and when you don’t “HAVE” to do something to make an income I’m finding it way easier for me to fall into my misery puddle in bed. •••
i am so glad I have these two hooligans/sidekicks that help me get out of bed and moving in the mornings. even if just for a little while. especially with Joseph being gone. •••
we went over to the newly built neighborhood and found some paths to walk down for a change of scenery. i think this may be our new adventure for the next few weeks. tired them out and got me outside for some well needed sunshine. ••• #chronicpain#syracuseut#stillwater#utahisrad#sunshine#stayhome#siberianhusky#blacklab#viandjadeowens#kongharness#dogmom

"Whatever may be the future of architecture, in whatever manner our young architects may one day solve the question of their art, let us, while waiting for new monument, preserve the ancient monuments. Let us, if possible, inspire the nation with a love for architecture." - Victor Hugo, Notre-Dame-de-Paris
After a much needed break from social media it feels good to finally be back! I’ve been spending all my free time fixing up the bus and haven’t got the chance to get out and shoot lately. Unfortunately we had to cancel all our trips for April and May due to the virus so looks like I will be going back and re-editing some of my favorites from last year. I hope you all enjoy and stay safe! 😁🚐🌲
