I get so god damn lonely and sad and filled with regrets some days. It overwhelms me as I’m sitting on the riverside; watching the golden rays on the horizon; a sudden burst of realisation in the middle of this magical unfolding. I can’t help it and I can’t stop it. I’m alone as I’ve always been and sometimes it hurts…. but I’m learning to breathe deep through it and keep walking. I’m learning to make things nice for myself. To comfort my own heart when I wake up sad. To find small bits of friendship in a crowd full of strangers. To find a small moment of joy in a blue sky, in a trip somewhere not so far away, a long walk an early morning in Doon valley, or a handwritten letter to an old friend simply saying ”I thought of you. I hope you’re well.” No one will come and save you. No one will come riding on a white horse and take all your worries away. You have to save yourself, little by little, day by day. Build yourself a home. Take care of your body. Find something to work on. Something that makes you excited, something you want to learn. Get yourself some books and learn them by heart. Get to know about strangers, where they grew up, what books they read. Take yourself out for dinner. Dress up for no one but you and simply feel nice. it’s a lovely feeling, to feel pretty. You don’t need anyone to confirm it.

After a long time, our schedule matched nd we planned to visit this biological park. weather was good, road was also very nice. not accordingly smoothness, but according to the condition, nature, ups nd downs and turns. it made me to remember the roads of #devbhoomi#Uttarakhand ..... I feel almost the same as in Uttarakhand, when I entered the road inside banerghatta park....

North Sikkim is one place where the journey is more beautiful than the destination.
There’s no dearth of beautiful and serene spots like this one all along the way, which is the only reason why we paid about 5 times the price to get a reserve cab.... to stop at n number of places like this here and there, spend a few moments absorbing the whole beauty of the place and clicking n number of pictures obviously! —
So this was somewhere around Chungthang, on the way to Lachen. While I sat there staring at the distance, these two fur babies came around. Thanks to my mother we had enough biscuits, breads and fruits for them. With both my dog loving parents, we managed to do them a tiny little feast.
And just then, as weather God would have it, a heavy downpour had started. As much as I hated leaving these babies, we had to go because we didn’t want to get stuck in another landslide of course. —
I still wonder how these dogs live there. There were no houses anywhere in the near vicinity. Someone was kind enough to have given them a blanket which they probably use as a bed. I wonder how they eat. Even on our way back to GANGTOK after the entire trip, I saw these two still there, majestically sleeping on a cliff on the blanket.
If you’re ever going there, do try to stop by at this point and offer them some food. That’s the least we can do

Even Cactus is a beautiful plant, rather underrated. It can survive in most harsh and warm conditions where mostly plants can't. Needs watering very less often or even weekly. It stores moisture in it's roots, leaves and stems. The most surprising was when it gave flowers, that's amazing.

The silence above 8000m is deafening. Your lifeline is a mixture of ambient air and supplemental oxygen. Exhaustion is but a state of mind at this point because once you touch the sky, you’re really only half way there.
The unforgiving and ruthless environment where life is not meant exist is not something you can battle. It’s something you must embrace. Be at peace with that which you cannot control. Surrender. The edge of space becomes your source of strength. Draw from the deepest part of all that your are and channel the purest form of strength. Your will. Your mind. Your heart. Your utmost determination. What was once your dream is now your reality.
The top of the world is less than 500ft away. Where there may have once been doubt there can only be belief. This is it. Dig deep. One step at a time. The summit awaits. .
