With a look-forward, positive outlook, we can have one hell of a good life. Life is always going to throw barriers our way. We have to think past them. Think about “where you want to be”. Understand that “where you want to be” is forever changing. There is no finish line, just keep heading in the direction your heart tells you to. Your direction will change as you grow. Feel confident in the decisions you have made up until this point. Continue to feel confident in them moving forward. This is your life. Make it yours and own it. 😊

This month I don’t have much in the way of passion project time and it’s so hard! It’s difficult but I’m trying my best to savor the journey rather then wanting to badly to skip right to the end where it’s all finished.
With the fan and solar installed on the roof, the next step will be getting the floors finished and insulated, and then the dreaded electrical which not gonna lie - completely terrifies me - which is why I’m putting it off and doing the floors first 😂 ⚡️
Your body is the best investment in your life! Do not waist it!⛔ It's very common, especially in my country, that people purchase the cheapest foods. They don't want to spend💲 too much on food. But many times the cheapest is the lowest quality too. So what happens when you fuel your body with low quality nutrients? ❔
You may never thought but starting with the skin and hair problems through the diabetes, obesity and serious health problem, everything related to the poor choice of food.💁♀️ You can go with fast food or pre-made food but are you sure, you know, what those are made from?🤔 How much salt is in the meal at you favourite restaurant? Or sugar? Even if you don't know, they add many times sugar to make meals more delicious..🧐 You can save more than money when you make your meals.💁♀️ Or just think about this, how much you can save if you don't have to buy medications? It's better to spend a bit more on your food and make your life healthier and happier, don't you think?🤓

“Stay sexy and keep wandering 💙🌻🌎” - @artvangrow .
This photo has had so much “chatter” in the past and I’ll forever be confused why. WHY is it an issue when a women is freely expressing herself, but men can walk around with their tits out?
Why are women sluts because they want to love and show off their body, but men can actually sleep around with multiple women and are still just men?
Society is the problem. Not men or women, but society and what “labels”, “stigmas”, and “status quo” they brain wash everyone with. Maybe I’m a free wild women because I never watched the news or read the newspaper? Maybe I’m naive because of that...or maybe I’m brilliant. 🤷🏼♀️
I never been a fan of control and rules EVER! Well, that’s all mostly what the government in the USA does. They control society through the media. They brain wash people through TVs, newspapers, the movies, billboards, and the toxic food they eat and toxic products they tell you are “good” for you.
It’s funny to me because for the last 3 years I haven’t owed a tv 📺, still never read the newspaper, had no WiFi, half-ass social media, avoided cities, lived off the land, use all natural products with no chemicals destroying my life, and cook 95% of all my meals.... and I’m the HAPPIEST AND HEALTHIEST version of myself and it’s so beautiful and magical .....oh, and inexpensive. ❤️🤣😝🤷🏼♀️🌻
Stop allowing society, your peers, and your ego to control your life. Live out your life doing EVERYTHING EVER you wanted to do and let love guide you there. I PROMISE when you ditch all your old ways, endless amazing opportunities and good health comes your way. Trust me, I was a medical anomaly my entire life. Spleen removed by 21 and in the last 2 years I haven’t been sick ONCE! The secret is...love, happiness, and treating my body like a temple by only putting good things in and on it! .
Call it a cheat code if you please, but I call it free will! 🌻💙

A Christmas decoration for each of us Millie, Biskit, Indiana Bones and Boston 🎄🎅☃️🎉
I read the book “The Alchemist” 2 years ago this month- it moved me in so many ways. If you know me, I’m always reading something, but it’s mainly pertaining to personal development. This book is a story- it’s an immersive adventure. I stumbled across the title at least 10 times before I picked it up. I’ve since read it 2 more times and every time at the end- I cry the fattest tears.
Coincidentally, December of 2017 is when I decided to commit myself to intentional life design. I was on my own journey of including alchemy in my life.
Everyone I loved got that book for Christmas that year and the one person who read it- looked at me and they said “I understand it now” when I shared my dreams with them. It moved me to the point of tears.
I’m currently writing a book. My hope is it has that effect on whomever reads my heart inscribed on the pages. I hope when they hold it in their hands, they feel seen, heard, and worthy of their own dreams. I hope share it with whomever is in their life when they can’t quite put their emotions into words and they’re told “I understand now- I see you”. Maktub

We’ve done some incredible things in 2019 and made memories that will stay with us forever. 2020 is already shaping up to be just as exciting, especially with our next trip to America only a few months away! Right now, as we’re looking at the grey sky outside the van, we’re finding ourselves thinking back to this incredible Summers day up near Lake Tahoe while filming with @fourwheelcampers. I’ve never seen water as clear and clean as this, and paddleboarding on these waters was an absolute treat! If only we were back there now 😍

If you could teleport somewhere, where would you go now? I’d love to go back to...
The mountains in the Dolomites 🏔.
I don’t know about you, but I like winter, of course I suffer a lot because I am always cold, but it’s something cool about getting colourful jackets, warm thermals, heavy hiking boots and cute bennies that bring lots of fun to the season (ahhh and lots of hot chocolate).
This winter I am super jealous! Stephen has a beautiful @rab.equipment jacket! That I just want to put my hands inside his pockets while he is wearing it😬 (of course he doesn’t allow me)!
We’re happy that very soon we’ll be heading to the mountains for our winter hiking holiday. But this time we’ll be heading to the Peak District in our camper van.
I need a good jacket though 😬

Jep...it's quiet around here.
As you know...emma is sold. It's #wintertime and if you look closely, you can see another reason for me to stay home and get cosy 🥰
But i'm planning new #adventures next year 🍀
Do you like to tinker? Do you enjoy the stress of figuring things out along the way? Do you prefer unpredictability? Be honest... If you answered yes to all these questions without hesitation, then *maybe* this life is for you. 😂
Honestly, though, owning one is a constant project. Some people like to relax and have downtime. Others like to create work for themselves. You know which type you are!
I finally finished the new and improved upper cabinet (short tutorial to come soon), along with a few other little projects on the van. And now maybe I’ll keep her a little while longer?.. ☺️

did you know Jesus drove an Astro van?
Excuse my crazy left arm - fun fact I’ve broken my humerus 9 times! But that’s a story for another time..

“Our melanin will always make us marvelous… Just imagine what that sea of sisterhood would look like. Magic!” – @alex_elle
Disclaimer: the van looks like this for around five percent of each day and the rest of the time it’s an explosion site 🙈 All of the things on the bench sit inside the sink when I’m on the move so they don’t slide around and make noise ☺️

There’s so much to be grateful for in every moment.
Today, I’m grateful for all friends who have been there for me recently as I navigate life’s changes and adjustments.
I’m grateful for every single lesson I’ve learned along the journey of life- it all led me here. No matter if the lesson was intertwined with joy, sorrow, or loss- it was influential in my becoming.
I’m grateful for the mountains and the wild spaces of this world- for giving me a playground and endless inspiration.
Today, I choose to focus on the good in my life and witness it grow into more beauty.
“You’ll be classified as ‘unsheltered’,” my childhood neighbor warned me on Facebook.
Anyone whose paid ANY attention to the crisis of homelessness in Seattle is familiar with the designation. It’s a slightly more inclusive word that describes anyone without a traditional home - ranging from those with shopping carts and tents, to people like me, with mobile homes and indoor storage.
It’s wild over here. This city I grew up in is nearly unrecognizable to me. And I have it easy. I work in tech. I make “good” money as they say.
Still, in Seattle, making only “good” money means you can choose three:
1) Pay rent
2) Pay debt and/or medical bills
3) Have some hobbies
4) Create savings
With a 500 square foot, basement level, shoe box in a dangerous part of town going for $2,000 a month, there’s just no getting ahead. And with real estate prices going up and up and up right alongside the rents, there certainly is no saving to buy a home. Not if you’re having to rent one in the meantime.
I had no idea when I sold my big, beautiful house to pay for medical care, that I was giving up my last real shot at owning a slice of my own city. That was before the big... whatever the opposite of recession is that’s happening now. Boom, I guess.
After I sold my house, I paid mostly rent and medical bills for a lot of years. As I’ve gotten healthier, I’ve added some modest hobbies to the list. But spending in category 4 has never felt feasible. And at 36, I have no real savings to account for. Minimal retirement and absolutely no emergency fund. I am one medical / housing / employment crisis from absolute disaster. And I have been for YEARS.
I want to change that. So I’ll give up expense number 1: Rent. I’ll say goodbye to the indoors, the dancing space, and the easy warmth. It’s a decision. It’s a choice. It’s... also the only way I see to build a safety net or a future around here anymore. It’ll be an adventure! And yeah. I guess I’ll be... unsheltered. Though, far, far more comfortably than most. 🙏🏻♥️
Thank you sun, thank you sea, thank you body, thank you me.
One of the things that vanlife brought me is a bigger awareness of my body. Less shame and bigger love to all parts of it. I am removing society's lenses from my eyes and learning to honour more my curves, my body hairs, my natural smell, myself.
I don't remember when was the last time I put my bra, and my body hair became wild and free more than ever. Just like me.
What about you? Do you remove it, groom it, love it or hate it?

In our bodies, we will live; in these bodies we will die.
And where you invest your love, you invest your life.
I’m Sandra, I’m from Sweden 🇸🇪 and I live in my van traveling Europe since one year back. I like to play board games, eat tacos and be weird. I have a bad temper and get angry when people don’t know how to behave on the road or in life in general.
I believe in karma but nothing else. The most important opinion I have is that one should value the life and time that you’ve got and make the most of it ie make sure you have fun and are happy.
You normally find me parked near any type of water and I’m usually outside soaking up the sun.
I LOVE to do things I’m scared to do, it gives me butterflies and I feel like I’m evolving afterwards. If I could give one tip to someone who feels like they’re in a rut, it would be to expand your comfort zone. Make a list of things you think would be fun but you’re kind of scared to do - can be how small and how big you want - then when you get the feeling of boredom, or “what am I doing with my life” or however you identify that negative feeling - you go to your list, pick one thing and you do it!
When I was at my lowest point after a break up - I felt like I was worthless in so many ways; I was ugly, I was boring, I couldn’t understand why people would want to talk to me even - I made three of these lists, one list was of things I wanted to do in my lifetime, one list was of things I wanted to do within a year and one list was of “easy” things I could do whenever I needed to do something new.
I framed the lists and put them up on my wall so I would see them and be reminded of what I wanted to do and what I’ve already done and how that had made me feel.
It helped me get out of my low point and realize I was crazy and FUN and people fking loved me! Trust me, I got some great memories out of it and it shaped me into a new better, happier, healthier me.
Who are you?

Ya teníamos ganas de playita!! 😎⛱️☀️
No estamos mal! Seguimos disfrutando de Thailandia, el país de las sonrisas! 😃😃😎☀️
No one remember those, who gave up on their dream🌠
People will remember those, who never gave up, even when no one believed in them.🖤 You don't have to explain to others, why do you want to change your lifestyle, why do you want to train, what is your why💁♀️
No one has the right to criticize you 🚫
I changed my body, my life, everything surrounding me because I wanted. I have a vision, a dream and I'm working toward that⭐
If someone doesn't believe in you, thinks that you're never gonna be good enough or you'll never reach your goal, just move on👣
Those person is not meant for you🙅♀️ #positivity #positivevibes #nightthoughts #onlypositivevibes

Who's ready for a trip down memory lane? .
Recently I've spent time reflecting on the year and looking forward to next year's adventures. I've also picked up writing my collection of stories which I hope to turn into a book.
Seriously, how is it December already?!?! Here's a snowy picture of Cumberland, MD in the C&O Canal National Park where I started out last December. .
This year I've lived in Western Maryland, Detroit, Toledo, drove across the country top to bottom and side to side, and explored miles of backcountry in Montana and Oregon. And then drove back East where I'm finishing out the year in Western PA. .
Sometimes my life gets a bit hectic and can feel a bit like Jeckle and Hyde. Most of the year, I work full time and squeeze in as many adventures on the weekends as possible, while still saving time for naps. Then I take a few months break for uninterrupted adventures with my van and lots of naps, of course 😉
When I was 15 I moved out of my parents house. When I was 17 I finally got a place of my very own. When I was 20 I moved to another state to pursue a relationship. When I was 22 I moved back home to recoup from that relationship. When I was 24 I moved to Oregon. When I was 25 I moved into a van. I’ve been looking for home in so many places, and this van has finally given me just that 💙
It’s now the 4th year in a row that I’ve come to this red rock wonderland ✨
I knew from the first time, and I still know now, that I will always be drawn back. For someone who grew up in flat green lands, this vastly still solemn sensual desert speaks in an especially compelling way to my imagination. And for good reason - every trip and every year brings new discoveries, connections and joys. This year, it was BASE jumping and paragliding among the red cliffs that blew my mind.
November was a helluva month.
In this place, with these sights, among kindred spirits who feel its magic as strongly as I do.
How did I get so so lucky? was the thought that bloomed the most often in my mind, around every turn and in every adventure and in every smiling face.

The best thing I love about the nomad lifestyle is being close to the ocean. When you find a parking location that allows you to see and hear the waves from bed or sofa - that’s my type of heaven 🏄♀️ frolicking in the sea is my happy place☺️ 🌊 📸 = @richyarosemena .
