Do you have any rituals? Things that reset your mind or body? Practices to reflect or gain insight?
When I feel lost or stuck I break out my Goddess Oracle cards or my tarot cards. I tend to use the oracle cards because I feel like I’m creating a support circle of other women to guide me.
It’s important to find something that brings you back into yourself. With my new life on the road, these rituals keep me sane and help me reflect.
Another amazing snap by @movinalexa
Me 2 years ago: "I want a bed that can fit skis under it and has a pull out table with 2 benches." Bidda bing, badda boom. Here it is. I built it.
I'm still in awe around the fact this is my imagination coming to life.
I wasn't sure all summer if I was going to be buying an empty van and starting from ground 0 or if I would find a van that was built or partially built that I would simply make modifications to fit my desires and needs.
When this van showed up, I got excited because I could build exactly what I wanted 🙏🏼😊♥️ Key design points:
Ski Storange, pull out table, bed built high enough to fit 2 bins tall for efficent storage and organization in the garage, and a full size bed.
All of the wood that you see in this picture (minus the table top surface) has been repurposed.
I went to a warehouse and demoed some large wooden storage shelves to create a lumber yard in my garage. A collection of 2x3s, 2x4s, and plywood. Mother Earth and my wallet really liked the effort and decision to repurpose.
It was a lot of fun to design and engineer the table. How I was going to mount it under the bed with the heavy duty drawer slides. It was also fun to play pretend once it was in. Taking masking and painters tape to draw on the floor.
There’s always a sensational sunset when you sit atop the clouds 🍻

🇩🇪 (English below) ⠀⠀
Wie schaltet ihr am besten ab? ⠀⠀
As well as before, during and after our road trip, there is only one thing for me to find peace.
Go for a walk & headphones in.
Just switch off, admire the nature & be alone with my thoughts.
During the trip, it was of course a little more exciting, because of the new environment & the many new impressions.
But in the past I liked to walk home after work, which is about 1 1/2 hours on foot.
Especially to collect my thoughts before the trip, to go through again if we forgot something. But also to just take deep breathes & think of nothing. Just to walk through the nature / city!

How is human life defined?🤷🏼♀️
Noun, plural lives: the sum of the distinguishing phenomena of organism, especially metabolism, growth, reproduction, and adaptation to environment. The animate existence or the period of an animate existence of an individual: to risk one’s life; a short life and a merry one. (Source: dictionary.com) 🤔🧐
I thought about writing a long post to pick ya brains on this definition....but I think I’m going to do one better. Instead of me explaining my perspective on this definition, I want you to drop below 👇🏼your thoughts on “life” and your perspective.🌎💙

I share my life cropped one square at a time. I have structured my life so I can experience so much beauty, but I feel like I’m not painting the whole picture. I have to crop out a mountain there and tree here. I try to tell the whole story, but inevitably details get left out. I’m a positive person who has been incredible lucky to have the parents I have, the education I received and the mentors who surround me. With this said I think it’s important to emphasis that the fear, sadness and stress that is part of the human experience is present at times in my life and present in the lives of the most bubbly social media figures. While these aspects tend to be cropped out of pictures and captions know these feeling exists in all of us and no one gets out of navigating life’s trials. Photo and Caption - Corey
This exact week 2 years ago me and my sister were driving around lost in Michigan trying to get back on track to head home to Massachusetts to start converted what is now my new home. To think of how far we have come in just two years is pretty incredible given all the ups and downs and crazy speed bumps we have come across along the way. Sometimes it’s hard to keep moving forward when you are dealt a shitty hand of cards but if you can find a way to push through it and find the positive in even the worse situations, I promise you the outcome will be worth it. Swipe to see how bundled up I was in a Michigan and today’s photo in the nice warm sun here in Ojai, California parked on a mountain top. Don’t let anyone or anything get in the way of your dreams and your determination to make a better life for yourself. I hear the phrase often “cancer sucks or f*ck cancer” and I understand that’s one way to look at it but for me I choose to look at it as a part of my life, a part of my life that I will embrace, I will push through, I will learn to live with and make the best of every situation. Cancer saved my life, it may be a long journey to heal and it’s not always easy, I’m weaker then I ever have been, but it has made me change in so many ways for the better. Cancer isn’t going to stop me, it has helped me wake up and make the changes I need to make (mentally, spiritually, physically, emotionally, etc.) 📸: @middiethewinnie
So excited to finally get to share this news with everyone!!
I’ve always been a believer in manifesting ones destiny and am so grateful for this opportunity. Not too long ago, a former client came to me and asked me to become a partner on a passion project of his. This is a dream come true for me and I hope you guys support my new endeavor as much as you’ve supported my passion.
Without further ado..... @tommycampervans
Special shoutout to @jackeryusa as well. Amazing products for those who need some power when off grid
Different configurations for different applications. Travel by day with the couch up and the bed stored away. When it’s time for bed the couch converts to a bed and the bunk folds down for another cozy sleeping spot! #ruggedliberation
We’ve been slacking lately in posting to this account but I’d like to change that.
It’s hard coming up with content to post. It seems like every vanlife page shows a perfect life with no room for messes or real life situations. It’s not always chasing sunsets and picturesque parking spots; every life style has its rough side. Even though we downsized so much already, we still have too many ‘things’ in the van, so it gets messy quick. (And it’s also why we beg family members to not buy us anything. Experiences are worth more than anything to us and they don’t clutter up the van, except with maybe dirty foot prints or rocks Violet has collected.)
So from here on out, we promise to post more frequently🤞
Today’s post is brought to you by, not the spot we woke up at (a hotel parking lot in town 🤫), but the spot we drove to in the early morning, after stopping at McDonald’s for a shameless breakfast + coffee since we were too cold to operate our stove this morning 🥶
Birmingham • Zion • Cali ▫️these trips get us SO HYPED!! Harrison and a full crew of friends drove the length of the country in the Mad Hatter, exploring and hiking the whole way through. Check out this highlight reel and then decide where YOU could take this van!
Let’s play a game...Which picture would make the best album cover? Tell us in the comments! 1 or 2? 🤔📸📀

So y’all remember that scene in Mulan where Mushu is stuffing rice in her face, getting her ready for her first day of training talking at her, and telling her not to talk with her mouth full? .... That’s motherhood guys.
Moms= Mushu and vice versa #thursdayrevelation .
That is all, you may now resume perusing your regular tinyliving/bus content 🤙🏼
we’re visiting family for thanksgiving and missing the road already and excited to get back on it! #roadlife
and thanks to @afri_can_adventurevan for driving ahead of us, stopping and waiting to get this amazing photo, you’re the best!

When I was growing up, close friends and family always made fun of my dirty feet. I would run bare foot through the neighborhood to my friends’ houses and play outside for hours once I got there. My hair was always tangled and my nails were always darkened from the dirt underneath. Makeup was foreign and products didn’t exist. Appearance was a concept I didn’t even consider. But then I got to high school and everything changed. I started getting embarrassed by their judgement. I started wearing makeup because I became convinced I was ugly without it. I spent money on fake nails so people would stop calling me a “tom boy”. I ruined my hair with bleach to be as blonde as possible… I think maybe I’m so happy now because I feel more like a kid than I have in years. I run barefoot with my dogs and they never care about my dirty feet. I wash my hair when I wash my hair and no one is here to tell me to brush it. I do yoga mid hike and walk away with the same darkened nails I had back then. Self care looks different for us all and mine has nothing to do with what I look like anymore. I take care of myself now in ways that matter to me. Your child self was likely right all along. Judgement from others always fades and does nothing but confuse you about who you really are. And maybe next time you jokingly poke fun at a friend’s appearance, think about how it could impact them. Never be the person to change someone else. Try running barefoot beside them instead or just step out the way while they do.

And just like that.. plans have changed. I found the perfect campsite on my way into Yosemite so I decided to stay there an extra day. I woke up yesterday, headed to the east entrance of the park, and they had closed it for the winter that morning 😬😬😬 That side of the park is only open about half of the year but I wasn’t expecting it to close THE MORNING I was going in 😂 Soo I quickly decided instead of driving 7 hours to the west entrance, I would just go to the Alabama Hills which was only about 2. The entire drive was pouring rain and as soon as I found a campsite, it started snowing. Heavy snowing. Like the kind of snowing that would get me stuck by the time I woke up today for sure snowing. SOO I left after about 30 minutes to the perfect campsite I started at because it wasn’t snowing there and it’s perfect and beautiful. I may not be able to get into the park but I’m going to sit here awhile longer and drink my coffee and figure where tf I want to go now. 🤷🏼♀️❤️ And that my friends, is life. At least I have my dogs who make literally everything better. PS: Although the last 24 hours has been pretty sh*t, this week’s podcast is out. Tune in to found out what 5 things I regret about my van build and 5 things I absolutely love. Peep the butane stove as one hint. ❤️ WISHING YOU ALL A BETTER DAY THAN MY YESTERDAY. 🙃
When space is limited, kitchen solutions like this drawer are awesome! What have you done in your van build to save space? And what didn’t you bring, because it took up to much room? 🎸🛷🔭? ⚋⚋⚋⚋⚋⚋⚋⚋⚋⚋⚋⚋⚋⚋⚋⚋⚋⠀⠀
