Vanuatu Holiday Tip: Cruise ships.... cruise ships are hugely important to the Vanuatu economy but we don't necessarily want to come across a couple of thousand cruisers when a ship is in port. So, my tip is to check the cruise ship calendar and avoid the major tourist spots - Blue Lagoon for example - on the days a ship is in -

Vanuatu Holiday Tip: Money Change... The good news is foreign currency can be easily converted to the local currency, Vatu, at Port Vila airport. There is a money change in the international terminal at the baggage collection but hang on to your cash until you exit Customs and you’ll get a slightly better rate at the kiosks around the car rental area! 🌴 #vanuatu#airvanuatu#vanuatuholiday#vanuatutravel#flyairvanuatu

Playing with palm fronds in Vanuatu! It still amazes me how productive and useful this plant is!
I love to ask people, “if you could be any plant what would you be!”
Mine is a coconut palm tree!
Tropical, food producing, extremely functional, building material, oil producing, shade baring, beautifully aesthetic and so much more...
Here’s a photo of my friend Jay Jackson about to start making some fancy stylish hats out the leaves!
Kava (Piper methysticum) is a member of an outstanding ethnopharmacological species. The plant medicine is consumed by a wide range of Pacific Ocean societies. Originally, islanders would drink the chewed up, ground up or pounded roots that were then cold water infused. When European explorers first landed on remote Pacific islands, they encountered societies in which kava drinking was an integral part of religious, political, and economic life. .
Our Kava is sustainably sourced, straight from the Pacific. Try some today!
Reposted from @dellaaldian (@get_regrann) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Papua New Guinea directly asserted his attitude, that his government always supported Papua and West Papua was part of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia. Minister Soroi also stressed the demonstration of the protests of the people of Papua New Guinea who supported the referendum on Papua and West Papua to part with the Republic of Indonesia, not the attitude of the government. #inggris#australia#vanuatu#solomon#papua#papuadamai#papuabarat#hutopm - #regrann

Reposted from @dellaaldian (@get_regrann) - The Government of Papua New Guinea explicitly supports Papua and West Papua being part of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). The political escalation that occurred in Papua recently is expected not to enlarge and can be resolved peacefully and wisely by President Joko Widodo.
Water just doesn't get any clearer than this. This is but one of Santo's famous blue holes – so why not come and experience them for yourself? #VanuatuMoments 🇻🇺

🇬🇧 We have done so many things together since we left France 4 years ago... but I must say that this experience will stay in my head forever!
It was our first ascent of an active volcano here on the @vanuatuislands 🌋
Feeling that force of nature vibrate and roar under our feet... Wow, it was terrifying and at the same time so magical!
Is there anyone here who has already climbed a volcano? Where was it? Tell us your story!

Ever feel like you're being watched? 👀
We've been interested in underwater photography 💦📷 for a while and have always used gopros. Recently we purchased a dive housing for our @sonyaustralia camera and we are loving it.
We found this cute little pink anenome fish peeking out at us. They are such curious and striking fish. 🐠
Have you ever seen an anenome fish?
Sensationnel! 🙌🏻
🇬🇧 This island certainly brings together all the cultural and scenic beauties of Vanuatu 🇻🇺
After an exploration of the jungle by kayak, we went to discover these small islets on the East coast and then we ended our day with a dive 35 meters deep to look at the wreck of the Coolidge, a war ship over 200 meters long! Sensational! 🙌🏻
