🙊 So we had a little outing to view Mummy on the big sign at Manchester Piccadilly station.
Here we are, and Daddy was the photographer.
I’m 38, married and Mummy to two outgoing lively children.... so why should I not be proud of being on a big sign 🤣
I’ve flown all my working life (since I left college at 20) and after all this time I have a career that I still love. And I work for the best airline 😉 ❤️ Flying is so much more than a job- it becomes a lifestyle. I’ve visited so many countries and continue to meet amazing people along the way, not forgetting the fantastic colleagues I have. It may take me away from my family for a few days at a time, but also gives us great opportunities as a family and my husband and children love what I do! #netflights#virginatlantic
Every airplane window picture says the same thing. It’s always sunny up above the clouds! Apply this to your LIFE! With your head down it’s hard to see the good things around you. Lift your head up above the clouds! Be grateful for what you have, see the good in every situation, learn from every lesson and know you have the choice to move down any path you want! This picture was taking on my path to my new life in the United States! ❤️ .
As a dual qualified A330/A350 Captain and Training Captain, I’m am required to maintain ‘recency’ (experience) on both aircraft types, by flying the A330 and A350 within a rolling 45 day period. This is a requirement of the SFF (Single Fleet Flying) qualification, which allows me to fly, train and examine on both aircraft types.
Here we see another A330/A350 SFF practicing a crosswind landing, with one engine shutdown at Heathrow 27L in the the A330 simulator. Practice like this enhances skills and improves safety. One of the best parts of my job it putting crews through various scenarios and sharing the knowledge and experience gained from watching others.
⚓ ANCHORS AWAY! ⚓ Gary and I jetting off with @virginatlantic to Orlando for our DISNEY CRUISE! ✨
We're sailing aboard the Disney Dream for four nights to the Bahamas, including a stop a Disney's private island: Castaway Cay! This is Gary's first ever voyage with @disneycruiseline and I cannot wait to share his reactions with you. 😊
Today marks the 50th anniversary the first commercial service of @Boeing’s 747 👑
Although we can’t prove it, with over 24,500 hours on the aircraft type, we think Mike Abu-Nayla may have spent more time flying the 747 than any other pilot in history ✈️
Have you, or anyone you know, beaten his record? 😉
Visit the link in our bio to read the story of his incredible career 👨✈️
