Like most other big stations in Japan, Sapporo boasts a beautifully designed JR Station.. From whatever transport u take to come to Sapporo, this place is the center hub of the city & also the busiest place, all day every day. I've been here so many times still can't resist myself to try & capture its stunning architecture.
A fun fact, Sapporo railway station transports an unbelievably huge number of people, to be literal 95 thousand every day 😱
This was taken at the South exit of the station where its so creatively designed you won't be able to guess that it's a path to the underground walkway & malls ❤️

Felling restless and the urge to travel is picking up again.
Where are you travelling to next ?
Just a set of neutral toned Japanese structures. I for one love the subtle nature in most architecture from Japan. The minimalist symmetry and soft palette embedded amongst the urban chaos. I normally seek out the colours and materials of a place so besides shooting bits of saturated buildings I also documented the concrete and beige seen around the Tokyo suburbs.
Let me know what you think of these shots. They aren’t what I normally post, but if I was doing a set of Japanese works I would use these to tell a more expanded story of Tokyo or the country.
the next travel journal is now up 🇯🇵 click through the link in my bio to see a collection of street photos when the cherry blossoms were in full bloom

Bevan recently purchased one year’s subscription of Disney Plus for Jas and we just finished watching the Star Wars movies VII - IX (we know we are wayyyyy behind 😂). Other than Jas being convinced that she can now speak wookie, this photo now reminds us of travelling through light speed!
If you could travel back in time to a moment or destination, where would you go? ⏱
The city of Nagasaki has a number of impressive museums including the Nagasaki Prefectural Museum of Art, located in Mizune-no-mori Koen, a lovely seaside park.
The museum features artworks related to Nagasaki and Spain. Mainly composed of pieces from the Suma Collection, the museum's collection is recognized as one of the best collections of Spanish art outside of Spain.
Reposting from earlier this year because a) I haven’t left my neighbourhood for a few weeks lol and b) we need to give the Kuroneko Yamato delivery legends more recognition 💪🏻

Last week I had a fantastic night portrait shoot in Odaiba (Tokyo) with the gorgeous Japanese model @naka_rana. Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo skyline had made for a beautiful background. This is the first time I have been shooting in Odaiba, and I am amazed!! 😍😘 I can't wait to go back there for more amazing portraits at night time.
Positive Affirmation Monday
✨Change is natural and I welcome it as an opportunity to grow and become stronger.
These past weeks have been a whirlwind. Along with work being kicked into overdrive because I work with an organization that is highly supportive of Pride month in June, I also spontaneously decided to move.
I had little intention of moving, but I came across an apartment I just had to view. To my surprise, my application was accepted and within a month I made the transition.
This entire experience has been incredibly interesting. Sure, I was curious and engaged, but I can’t help but feel like the universe presented me with this opportunity and all I had to do was be open minded about it.
I am so grateful I accepted the change, as I feel so much more comfortable in my new apartment.
Has something like this ever happened to you before? Where all you had to do was accept the change and everything else just fell into place?
