If new beginnings had a look, I think they’d look something like this ☀️
The moment when the sun rises above the horizon and through the trees illuminating the morning fog and evaporating it, causing a moment of startling beauty in the process. That can be what life feels like sometimes, when you’re coming out of the fog, the sun is shining on you and all you have to do is look around you to realize just how beautiful the process is.
This is where my mind wanders to a lot of days.. This lonely little house somewhere deep in the Westfjords, sitting there surrounded by beautiful views every way you look and completely vacant. It felt so wild to run through the vastness this side of Iceland has.. easily now where I day dream ✨
Sunday, love is love is love.
"We are not broken things, neither of us. We are cracked pottery mended with laquer and flakes of gold, whole as we are, complete unto each other. Complete and worthy and so very loved.”
-The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue, Mackenzi Lee
It's Sunday, and last night I slept for a whoppin' 14 hours. Sometimes you need to recharge, and it was about time for me.
This lovely stack (which really should have gone up yesterday) is one of my favorite stacks that I've put together. These stories made me happy, and the content is perfect for just about anyone.
Inclusivity is something that I have quietly been working on, expanding the books that I read. So that has included reading more contemporary, as those books haven't had much representation on my shelves. It is easy to have a fantasy story filled with characters of all walks of life, but contemporaries are stories that I've been actively looking to read.
It's important to relate, and it's also important to feel that emotional connection when reading something. These books represent that for me. But my goal is to expand this picture where the books are overflowing beyond the four edges of this square.
Q: What are your favorite books that you instantly related to?

Selenophile 🌙 • Harvest Moon 2019 • I’m a huge moon lover (you’ve probably seen my moon phases tattoo on my back in other images) and I always try to get shots of the moon- especially when there are lunar events happening. Will definitely be making an conceptual image with these shots. 📷
Well y’all, I can’t believe it’s already here, but today I’m leaving for Tombstone Territorial Park in the northern Yukon with @marcadamus and his photographer gang! I’ve dreamt for years about an experience like this and never imagined it would ever come- but the universe conspires forever in your favor when you decide to let it. I’ve spent months preparing for this opportunity of a life time, and I’m ready to soak up every bit of it and take my passion to a whole new level! We’ll be backpacking off trail for a total of 8 days in search of the northern lights, but even if I never see them I know I’m going to make the most out of this opportunity that I possibly can. The world is full of marvels, and euphoria doesn’t even begin to describe this feeling of inner bliss. I’ll be back in the states in about 2 weeks. Tata for now folks. ✨
