Just Here For Mickey Waffles 🤩
The breakfast buffet at the Trails End Restaurant in Fort Wilderness was FANTASTIC! I wanted a delicious hearty breakfast and I sure found it. The walnut syrup on the Mickey waffles and fresh baked Warm Pecan Cinnamon Buns were some of the best things I’ve ever eaten at Disney. If you’re looking for savory the Cheesy Grits are out of this world! Make a reservation and head over on your next trip. ✨
Where is your favorite Breakfast spot on property? ✨
EPCOT Food & Wine Festival! 🌍🧀🍣🍷
This celebration of global cuisines, music and wine takes place every year at EPCOT from September - November and it is FANTASTIC ✨ There are food and wine/beer/spirits/cocktail pairings from countries ranging from Morocco, Australia, Japan, France, Belgium and everything in between. •
EPCOT Fun Fact: Did you know that the cast members in the World Showcase are each from the country that you’re visiting? Love how @disney goes way above & beyond. •
Who’s visited EPCOT Food & Wine before?? What did you think?
✨This past weekend I (Becca) headed to Beach Club (without Hunter because he unfortunately had to work 😭) for some fun with family. We spent Friday at food and wine 🍷 trying all the delicious things (I’ll have to do a recap of everything we have tried eventually because a lot of it was sooooo good!) and we rode the skyliner as a big group (which was much more fun and I’m super bummed Hunter missed out). I also attempted a Belle bound l and while it wasn’t as good as others I have seen I definitely have a new favorite dress for Epcot.
✨Saturday we spent the morning at Animal Kingdom braving the monsoon which turned out to be AMAZING!! The cheetahs were super active, running around and playing, we got to see an adorable baby gorilla, and we drew Hopper from It’s a Bugs Life at the animation academy.
✨Saturday night we headed to Hollywood Studios for some rides and a trip to Galaxy’s Edge. We headed to Oga’s for some drinks which was especiallylly fun because I was the only one our party who had been there before so I really got to enjoy seeing everyone’s reactions. Then we closed out the night with a delicious dinner at 50s Prime Time.
✨I intended on posting a recap yesterday but time got away from me because...you know... STAR WARS trailer drop and movie tickets. We secured our seats and now I’m going to not so patiently obsess over that trailer til December.
✨Anyone else ready for December 19th to get here but also having a hard time accepting that this is the end of the Skywalker saga?

Working for Disney can be a lot like playing dress-up! Because Walt Disney World is so expansive, you may have the chance to work in different locations, whether from deployment (they ask you to work somewhere else for a week or so,) or from picking up or trading for shifts in different locations. During my two programs, I got to work in seven different locations-which means seven different costumes!! My main two locations were Strollers and Rock n Roller Coaster, but I was also deployed to ESPN (which i didn’t get a picture of,) the Emporium, and Mickeys Gift Station, and I got trained in positions in Toy Story land and Santa’s Meet and Greet in Hollywood Studios (which I also didn’t get a picture of.) If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend trying new positions and locations! You may not love every position that you try, but the experience is so cool-and if nothing else, it’ll make you appreciate your home location even more 😉

There’s a great feature at Epcot that I recently discovered! If you have a Disney debit/credit card then you can special pictures with ‘secret’ characters. You do not know what the characters will be before your party meets them but the line is way shorter then that of character spot and they give you plenty of time for the pictures. Not to mention the characters are super fun to interact with. Pluto and I danced to the photographer singing Hakuna Matata! This place is located near Figment’s imagination and the Pixar movie shorts, although isn’t labeled all that well.
Do you know of any other spots where this deal exists? Comment below! #disneyworld#waltdisneyworld#disneycharacters#disneypluto#minniemouse #characterpictures#disneyannualpassholder

Alexa, play “Spooky Scary Skeletons” on repeat for 10 hours.
It’s the little moments 🥰 I had some one on one with this little guy at Magic Kingdom and he said he wanted to relax...which turned into a mini Fantasyland photo session ❤️ Sometimes our kids have the perfect way of telling us to slow down and enjoy the moment!
It’s Sidekicks Day on @colormemagic ‘s Halloween dress up challenge, #colormehalloween ! My friend and I went to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party this past Sunday dressed as Meeko and Percy! I like doing costumes that you don’t typically see!

New article on our site.
Tips on how to relax during a Disney World vacation.
Link on our profile page 😀
Your trip is all planned, hotel and dining reservations made, your fast passes booked. Now you have to figure out what to bring.
Don't be like us on our last trip. We came empty-handed and paid the price: $25 for 2 ponchos we could have bought for $2 at the dollar store 😕 I am usually always prepared but this last trip was very last minute so... 🤷♀️
I usually pack these on any Disney trip: ❤️ ponchos
🧡 all things Disney from the Dollar store (zip loc bags, pens & pencils, stickers, activity books, glow in the dark items for nighttime entertainment)
💛 cooling towels, hats & sunscreen
💚 water bottles
💜 stroller (I had my daughter in one last year when she was 5. It helped a lot when she got tired of walking - less whining)
🤎 costumes. I got most of my little one's princesses costumes on Amazon or second-hand
🖤 if you have younger kids, little toys to keep them entertained while waiting in while. I used to get my daughter bubbles and she loved it!
🤍 when you get to the parks, ask for a free button for any special occasion (birthday, anniversary, first visit, graduation, etc. ) You might get freebies 😊
Now Disney has the cutest merchandise and you will need all your willpower not to spend a whole paycheck on them. I usually let my daughter get one (reasonably priced!) souvenir from the parks and that's it! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What else would you bring to Disney?

When the clock strikes midnight but you’re still at Yacht & Beach... I swear I slept through half my program 😂 where’s your favorite WDW nap spot?
Can we just take a moment to appreciate this Beignet Burger??!! 🍔 You can only find this bad boy at @waltdisneyworld Port Orleans French Quarter Resort at Sassagoula Floatworks.
PRO TIP: If you show up right at 11am when they switch from the breakfast menu to the lunch menu you’ll get the first and freshest beignet burger of the day like I did! #worthit
This was actually really tasty and not as sweet as I thought it’d be. Other than being so tall it barely fit in my mouth (not a bad problem to have), this was a tasty and filling lunch that I’ll definitely look for on my next trip. 😋
Oh my gosh, you guys I am obsessed with this pillow! Please make sure you go and check out @disney_glitter_and_bow 🧡 they’ve got great Disney pillows, including awesome Halloween decor like this 😍 how do you guys incorporate Disney magic in your home? We like small simple touches like this ⭐️ swipe to see with flash for a more accurate color photo! #gifted

“Everything you see exists together in a delicate balance. As king, you need to understand that balance and respect all the creatures, from the crawling ant to the leaping antelope.”
Oh hey hi Instagram 👋🏼
I’ve been taking a little break from posting on here as much but I miss you guys!
Instagram is awesome and also sometimes the worst, amiright? Have any of you guys ever taken a social media break? Do you feel like there’s times where you lose your inspiration and have no idea what to post? 🤔🤔🤔 I’d love to know your thoughts on this.
I’ve been on here almost four years now and I’ve learned to listen when my gut just isn’t feeling it and I need to pull back some. Its not really time off from work since this is just one aspect of what I do, but it’s the part I tend to need a break from. Creativity isn’t an endless pool and sometimes it dries up. I’ll come on here and just feel like I have no idea what to post. There’s nothing I really want to share or say. 🤷🏼♀️ It doesn’t happen often because usually I always have stuff to talk about, 😬😉 but when it does I try not to fight it and just step back a bit.
I think we all get nervous from slowing down posting, feeling like we will lose followers or it will hurt our account in some way. To be honest, Instagram changes so much that I’m not really sure if it does or not. (I guess I’m about to find out! 😆) But I can’t help feeling like it’s better to take a break and come back when you feel inspired or creative again.
Now I feel excited to connect with you guys and share more with you. I’m thinking about ideas and content I want to share, and that wouldn’t happen if I didn’t pull away some. So tell me if you get burned out on social media and what you do when that happens. I feel like it’s worth discussing. And stay tuned for a full Disney day tomorrow! 🤗🙌🏼😍
I found this photo in my camera roll while I was searching for a pic that would fit the theme of the bazillion degree weather at Disneyland this week. 😰 First, no joke Reagan took this of me without me knowing (okay photographer! That sunset)! Second, I remember that this day from a couple months ago 👆was a hot one (but very magical), so yep. That’s my story. 😐😂
You all might not want to hear me talk about hot weather at the parks AGAIN 😬😆, but in case you are new here, I have some tips on my website for surviving 90+ degree weather at the parks! Search “beat the heat” on mkmamas.com.

🍁🏰 Who else wishes they were hanging out at the kingdom today? .
🚘 On my most recent stay at @waltdisneyworld, I finally tried Disney’s Minnie Van service, powered by @lyft, and I’m completely sold on this mode of transportation! I still tend to use Disney’s free transportation between the Disney Parks, @DisneySprings, and Walt Disney World Resort hotels, but on the occasion that you might be hopping from one resort to another, need a little extra space for your bags after a round of shopping, or simply need some extra personal space, Minnie Van service is remarkable! The cost and wait time are a bit higher than your traditional cab ride, but Minnie Vans are driven by Walt Disney World Cast Members (*exceptional* service), the seats are incredible spacious and comfortable (easy to fall asleep after a long day in fact), and they even play Disney Park music! If you’re interested in using the Minnie Van service on your next trip, simply download and open the Lyft app, create or sign in to your account, and request a ride to and from any Walt Disney World property (you can only use the service around Walt Disney World with the exception of to/from Orlando International Airport @flymco). Minnie Van service is listed as a separate category of vehicle and should activate automatically when you’re on Disney property. Have you used Minnie Van service before? If so, what has been your experience? 💆♀️

You can find all of the Halloween candy apples, cake pops, rice krispy treats and much more at Candy Palace on Main Street in Disneyland, Pooh Corner in Critter Country in Disneyland, Trolley Treats on Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure and Marceline’s Confectionery in Downtown Disney. #mkmfood
