A picture is worth a thousand words, and a memory is worth a million. A picture allows me to freeze a frame in that memory, for others to see and relish. When I close my eyes every night, a kaleidoscope of memories start playing, projecting not the what ifs of that moment but the accomplishments of going places no one ever has, seeing things maybe no one ever has. As a photographer, everyone wants to picture something different, maybe a virgin location, a never-seen before person, they want their frames to be unique; while I think differently. Mediocrity is a state of mind, every frame, idea, location is done and dusted thanks to blogging and travel enthusiasts, so what you so work hard to stand out, has mostly been tried someplace else by someone else. So, don't try to be a unique photographer, but subliminal one, the one who takes a mediocre frame and turns in into a work of art because the only thing unique on this globe is your perspective.

👉 A “Baray” is a giant, man made water reservoir. It is not known with certainty what the purpose of the barays was. Archaeologists believe that they were part of the irrigation system or served a religious purpose. At the center of the barays the Khmer constructed a temple on an artificial island
