Meet the Bajo people, the last sea gypsy tribe of the Indonesian archipelago who built their homes in the middle of the sea. Bajo people view the ocean as a source of life. They have roamed the seas for generations, using their renowned sea-faring skills and simple implements to make a living
Well it’s official...we were finally able to go out for dinner/drinks this weekend! 🍕🍸I’ll never take that for granted again 😅 also the UK have released a list of countries we can now travel to!! Though I still know so many people who think it’s too risky to book anything this year and don’t plan to travel outside their country again until the new year! What are your thoughts? Do you think you’ll be on a plane before 2021? ✈️

Sorry, clearly Miss Perry is my go-to lately 😋. But mega relevant, because it’s America day!
Woke up to gentle, patriotic rain falling on the van today to send me off...Moab, it’s been magical and I’ll miss you until next time. Thank you for going above and beyond to provide.
Two National Parks, one state park, SO MANY ARCHES, amazing memories made and very little sleep gotten in the last 24 hours. WHEW! Hitting the road again and wishing all of you out the an amazing fourth (don’t forget to give those pups some extra snuggles today, too!).
Wanted to say big, big thank you to @mountinspiration for this, rad, sustainably mindful shirt and providing me my road trip motto, “relax, nothing is under control.” So far, so good 😋.
When John Denver said “mountain momma”, this is what he meant. 🌞😜😂

Soaking in these endless summer nights! Can't get enough of the midnight sun! 🌞 My friend @illegalplants has a theory that everyone is either a sun or moon child. According to this theory, you either prefer more light/daytime or darkness/nights. Which one is you? I would definitely be a sun child! It's never too hot nor too bright! 🤩 📷: @tonieskelinen

Two massive rock outcroppings on the Oregon coastline.
Twin Rocks is located near two other unincorporated communities in Tillamook County, Barview and Watseco. The three communities are all along a 3-mile stretch of U.S. Route 101 between the cities of Rockaway Beach and Garibaldi.
WHEN IT COMES TO NAMING towns, it was often a case of looking around for the nearest notable landmark to name it after. For Twin Rocks, Oregon the choice was remarkably easy.
Offshore from the seven miles of pristine sands on Rockaway Beach are two enormous 100-foot-high rocks, made of 20-30 million year old sandstone which was over time forced up into a ridge of sandstone. As time and the ocean wore away at the ridge it left the harder pieces behind in the form of twin rocks.
The twin rocks are also the site of a rather unusual burial service offered by Twin Rocks Undersea Memorial in which ones loved ones ashes are set out to sea.
High above Telluride, Heaven is simply on the other side of this old window. Built in the early 1900’s and standing 5 stories tall, it’s mind boggling thinking about transporting resources over 5 miles to the high alpine to build these mining structures.✨
