Some #spaghettibolognese and far too much garlic on the toast to try to kill the flu bug (and scare random vampires). 🧛♂️ 🧟♂️
The New Boss and I have been discussing monsters of the more routine sort - those involved #officepolitics , including the saboteur from the other team. .
I could not fathom why that team’s leader would do such a thing. The repercussions were so great for the entire company, globally, that my issues have been brought up at the highest levels in New York.
New boss thought it was petty jealousy, even though there was no logical reason for it. I would understand when I grew older, he said. It’s what happens at the peak/end of one’s career.
But perhaps one does not have to wait quite that long.
For #thomashobbes , fear, ignorance, and desire are the basic motivators of all mankind (political and religious). Man will try to satisfy his desires, only partly succeed, and will fear losing what little he may have gained.

Today's good stuff. #michelinguide Plate recommended #bakchormee at an eye-popping price of $8 for Medium-size (contains minced #pork , #prawn , pig's liver, fishcake, #fishballs , #meatballs and lettuce). But it was a good meal with fresh ingredients and a nice meepok texture. 1-for-1 with Burpple Beyond.
Taipei: My 2nd visit to 林東芳牛肉麵 (Lin Dong Fang Beef Noodles) was just as delicious, if not better this time around. We were able to share the experience with my close friend @mabet. My love for beef noodles will never die. ❤️
On a side note, we officially booked our next trip to its entirety (flights and hotels) to Bangkok and Chiang Mai. Now to plan all the excursions and food itinerary. 😆
We know that our place can be crowded during peak hours. But yet we do not like to disappoint our patrons without a meal 🙁
Which is why we encourage take-aways when our outlets are packed. But not to worry that the quality of food will be compromised because we have seperate the noodles from the soup. The noodles we use also do not turn soggy over time 😁.
No one has the right to deny you ramen. Head down to Takagi Ramen for some authentic and affordable ramen from $6.90 nett now!! 🍜🍜
HONEST REVIEWS : Trying Pav Bhaji's in different parts of Hyderabad to figure out the one best. And in that search I reached Gachibowli - Sardar's Pav Bhaji. A plate for Rs 70 which is quite reasonable but the taste was just average. I have heard so much about the place but somehow it didnt meet my expectations. The bhaji was too oily and had too much of butter. If you add lemon as per your taste you might like it.. .
Little local, simple korean restaurant offering hearty spicy seafood stew with assorted seafood like crabs, prawns, clams. It had a spicy taste that is balanced by the sweetness of the seafood. Not forgetting the light, silky texture and strong flavour of the egg tutu that is soaked in the seafood broth.

A pretty interesting stall to find in Hong Lim hawker centre, starting from its name which we still quite understand.
It specialised in curry and prata puff. And the curry was as hot as its bright red colour suggested, delivering some kick-ass spiciness. In the pot enough to feed 2, there were thoroughly cooked potatoes and a large portion of chicken.
Besides the usual rice, their freshly baked prata puff was a satisfying pairing with the curry. Think roti prata but this was like a puffed up pastry, crispy and non-oily, great to soak up the thick and tasty curry.
From the curry, prata puff, presentation and stall name; Midas was a non-conventional stall amidst the other offering traditional local dishes, worth checking out.

London Roast Duck @kentarochen , tender, herbal sauce with a very perfect crisp.
Brown Sugar Creme Brûlée Milk ($4.30/S, $5.60/M), Brown Sugar Boba Matcha Latte ($5.50/S, $6.80/M). •
Venturing out of the usual brown sugar fresh milk had us trying the creme brûlée milk and matcha latte. People who are looking for a creamy, milky drink will probably enjoy the creme brûlée milk. Boasting of a robust flavour with a rich mouthfeel, this dessert-inspired drink gets even more enjoyable as smokiness of the caramelised sugar gets blended into the milk, though it could get a little too creamy towards the end. •
Personally I preferred the brown sugar boba matcha latte. An intertwine of cold bitterness from the premium Japanese green tea with the warm, smoky boba turned out to be a harmonious brew, of precise sweetness. Fans of firm, bouncy boba, @boberteasg is the right choice. •
Dreaming of autumn foliage. There’s something special about autumn 🍂, one of our favourite Seasons (we love spring too). We’ll be spending the evening reminiscing about autumns we spent in the past watching the leaves 🍁 change colours and slowly fall off onto the ground. Even more perfect with a cup of warm tea in hand. Repost @plaidmtn
Available from 8am to 5pm.
Rushing to work and in the morning? Why not grab this yummy scrambled Ciabatta from @antoinette_sg. Additional $3 if you want, coffee or tea or petite salad to go along.

Today we MUNCH-ed on...🤤
📍Butterknife Folks, Funan📍
💸 Double Scoop in a cup: $9
🍦Flavours tried: Ms Maple Teatime Treat + Miso Sexy
Butterknife Folk rotates the flavours quite frequently as everything is one pan only and once it’s finished you’ll never know what comes next🧐
Super excited to share the flavours I’ve tried this time!! Ms Maple Teatime Treat was recommended to us and is essentially toasted white chocolate with balsamic strawberry whereas Miso Sexy is a white miso gelato with generous sprinkles of caramelized black sesame brittle!! When they say generous sprinkles, it is REALLY generous and you could taste the strong black sesame taste in almost every bite🤩 Really glad that I gave this place a second shot because the flavours they had the previous time didn’t exactly make me go ‘wow’😂 Looking forward to more exciting flavours in the future!!

[Ah Boy Nasi Lemak] Had this Nasi Lemak again. This time round mine cost $4 while the other plate cost $2.80. The last time I had exactly the same thing plus egg instead of otah and it was $3.40. Go figure. But anyway, it’s still relatively affordable and they use basmati rice of which I think the texture is nice and light. Some may prefer the usual coconut rice.
going simple and healthy today with one of kid2’s favourite dinners : steamed red snapper, egg tofu, sushi rice and kailan stirfried in oyster sauce (both my kids actually like veggies ✌🏻 abnormal as that may be...😂)
the topping for the fish is just shallots, minced ginger and garlic caramelised with a splash of worcester sauce and mirin. ·
Post dinner sweet treats from @pvbakery! 🧁
Bought the milk chocolate banana and salted caramel cupcakes! I must say the standards are still quite maintained, except I personally feel the texture of the salted caramel cupcake is too crumbly and mushy. The frosting is 👍🏻 though, very rich in caramel flavour with hints of salty notes. It’s quite sweet for me but still alright when paired with the cake which’s not that sweet! The milk chocolate banana cupcake is one of the underrated flavours IMO. The banana flavour is so fragrant with subtle tinge of cinnamon to it. I like that the cinnamon fragrance is light and just enough to enhance the overall flavour profile of the cupcake. The cake for this is sweeter than salted caramel, but the frosting is slightly less sweet in comparison. There’re also dark chocolate chips within the cake that help to balance out the sweetness. Love this! Chocolate and banana is always a good combination! 🍫🍌
Service here is commendable too, with it being warm and friendly. Brightens up my day too! ☀️
It’s a new week again. Let’s 💪🏻!

Indonesian traditional dish from West Java Province that consist of white rice served with Babat (beef tripes that was boiled with soy sauce based broth mixed with spices), Gulai Sapi (Sundanese traditional beef stew) and Sambal.
This Nasi Babat is amazing!! The beef tripes was tender, juicy and very flavorful!! The beef stew was also tender and the stew broth was enhanced the flavors of the tripes and white rice so well..!!

Killing Monday blue with a scrumptious feast for the stomach and soul to start the gear for the whole week.
I love watami salad so much. It comes with generous amount of ingredients and special Japanese sesame dressing makes the freshness of the salad a blow. It is always a must where I came here. Sometimes I just came here alone to grab this. It is healthy yet delicious.
Real Man Hot Pot features a mountain of beef as our choice. You can choose either beef, pork or both. I was informed that they no longer have pork so I opted for beef.
The tenderness of the meat when is cooked in the creamy brooth that is serving with generous amount of cabbage, shimeji mushroom and bean sprout is so good. Portion is good for two.

If you could only eat one type of pasta for the rest of your life, what would it be?
For us, we would go with pappardelle. Its flat wide sheets give it maximum surface area to carry all that amazing creamy tomato sauce.
