SECRETS OF ANGKOR WAT
I love discovering and sharing interesting facts about my trips. Now I’m gonna tell you a little bit about Angkor Wat. ⠀
How did the engineers of 12th century managed to build this enormous temple that survived through hundreds of years?
There are subterranean waters under the basement. Due to dry seasons its’ level decreases so the temple’s structure could be damaged.
To avoid this problem the architects made the artificial river surrounding the Temple’s like a perfect square. Water from this river helps to keep balance when underground water level goes lower, which is EXTREMELY important to support the construction from damaging.
Isn’t it incredible? How were people of 11-12 cent. were so knowledgeable and wise? All these questions just blew my mind after I visited Angkor Wat
🤗What was the most memorable vacation you’ve taken? 🤗
I know everywhere you go you’ll have great memories, but some stand out more than others. ❤️
One of my favorite travel memories was our RV road trip last summer. Traveling by RV was something we’ve never done. Driving across the country in a moving house is an experience to remember. 🤩😊🤩
It’s an experience that is on my travel list again. I just need to decide where to next?! ⛰🙌😊
Where would you go in an RV?

✈️Where should we travel to in 2020?🧳
One of my favorite parts about Caleb’s & my job is being able to travel around the country. We feature our favorite parts of each new city we visit, & adventure through new places together.
We loved exploring places like Seattle, Boulder, St. Louis, Long Beach, Billings, San Diego, etc. Each place holding special memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. We love seeing how different & special each new place is.
I’ll never forget running through the grass at Forest Park, in St. Louis. Not a worry or care in the world, just the open field in front of us. Playing tag, laughing, my hair flying in the wind as I tried to escape (not really 😜) Caleb’s bear hug attacks.
Sunsets are a dream in each place, as we take in the colors God painted all over the sky to show off His beauty & love for each of us. Letting the splendor sink in, as we cuddle, talk about our dreams, & Gods glory.
We can’t wait to explore new places in 2020. There is so much for us to still see.
What new cities should we visit in 2020? ✈️ We’d love to know your favorite places!🧳
