This was one of those days when I'd given up hope that we'd spot anything.. We were making our way out of the park and from nowhere, he makes his way out of the bushes followed by his mistress.. But there he was, the one and only black panther of Kabini.. The most photographed black panther in the wild.
Today was a trip. But I ended it with my new friends, and it turns out they have babies 🤗 scary killer babies, but babies nonetheless. (This is blurry but I honestly don’t care because look at those EYES 💛)

This is the stream that gives us life at @hojanueva ; it’s where we bathe, pump our kitchen/shower water, spend time cooling off, and where we teach our animals how to do the same. @dukeclinch and I went down to teach Charlotte, our baby peccary (sajino), where she can roll around in the mud and cool off. It took months for the skin fungus and mange Charlotte came with to completely clear, but mud baths in combination with her daily meds surely helped. I’ll upload a video shortly to @hojanueva showing how much she enjoyed her first jungle bath!!! Thanks @t_n_kohler for these photos 🌿🤍
