Temporary Post... I love Koala’s... but I had no idea what they sounded like. ❤️ #Repost@lovable.koala with @get_repost
This koala is actually a female and lives in Melbourne and has not been affected by the fires at all, the sound she is making is a normal way that Koalas can communicate. She is a healthy and happy koala. 😍❤🍃🐨. @lovable.koala

Lucky hawk, not so lucky squirrel. While hiking the park I noticed a fairly large buck off the trail. I had him in my view finder and was getting ready to snap a photo when a flash of brown flew into frame, leaving no trace of the squirrel that was at the bucks feet. I looked up as this beauty flew over head, struggling slightly to carry its newly captured meal to the tree top above me. My only wish is that I new it was coming so I could prepare the camera. I did manage to get a few photos of the aftermath at least!

Beautiful Koala & Joey 🐨. Toot & Khamin are in rehabilitation at Currumbin Wildlife Hospital & we can’t wait for their release back out into the wild. For now they’re looking very comfortable🙏
