Worth the mud, sweat, and little panic attacks....
And bruises, bumps, and cuts 🤓
. Super thankful for being here with Garrett and Todd, who both pushed me through the crawl and claustrophobia to get here ♡ I honestly couldn't have done it without them
. Also, big shoutout to the group of friendly dudes who brought spotlights with them, you guys made this photo possible ♡

Just because summer is done it doesn’t mean the hikes are over. Don’t stop exploring the unseen and never lose your sense of wonder. @JointheHike has just announced the first trip for the winter. Let me know if you’re down to join us.
Come enjoy the silence and beauty of the forest in snowy conditions and make the most of this weather.
Make sure you gear up well and you’re having a (snow) ball.
Besides, all that movement in the snow raises your resting metabolic rate and you’re burning so many more calories than a regular hike = outdoor gym for the day.
Fun fact: snow acts as a sound absorber, dampening sound waves much like commercial sound absorbing products hence the tranqility during this time of year.

Thank you guys SO much for continuing to purchase my presets to benefit Weston. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your help. I know a lot of you have messaged me with questions about them and I am trying to answer everyone as quickly as I can, thank you for your patience. I have SO many messages about Weston, questions, advice - So it’s just taking a little bit for me to get through them. I’m also still spending a lot of my time off IG to take care of my guy, so thanks for understanding. ❤️ If you’d like to help support Weston’s medical expenses, my presets are for sale at the link of my bio and 100% of the proceeds are going straight to the care he needs. Thank you! 🙏🏼

🌞 Happy Friday from the Buffalo River Area 🌞
. This trip had been planned about a month ago, and the forecast back then predicted my favorite hiking weather: overcast, below 50°, with a chance of rain. When the day finally got here, though, it ended up being full sun without a single cloud in the sky. While this weather may not have been ideal for photography, it doesnt matter when your brother finally comes home from college for a weekend and wants to go exploring with you. You hit that trail, crawl through every nook and cranny, and brake for all the elk 👊
Kindness is key 💚🌲💚
Today is #worldkindnessday and I just wanted to tell you how happy and grateful I am about the kindness you’re sharing with me everyday on here.
The more anonymous the society gets the less kindness seems to be spread on here - but it’s proven that being kind not only makes the other human happy but also and especially ourselves. So please, never stop being kind, supporting each other, complimenting each other, hugging each other everything that makes us smile!
And if you haven’t done it yet, please tell one of your favorite human why he or she is that super awesome! It will be appreciated 💫
And on a different note: can someone please take me back to Scotland 🏴 right now? 😍
We get so worried about being happy, that we end up missing out all together...We expect that love be black and white...Sometimes it is purple or grey or blue and takes work and understanding, true love can cause undescribable pain but the purest pleasure that is never perfect. Stop waiting for that magical moment of pure bliss and start enjoying whatever fragments of happiness you can find...It's the rainy nights curled under blankets talking the night away... It's the feeling you get in your stomach when you've laughed so hard you could cry.. It's the tingles when someone kisses your forehead and brushes the hair out of your face. It is the hands you hold during your greatest adventures and just the simple rides in the car. It's drinking wine in the bed and laying on someone's chest at night. It's enjoying waking up to see someone smile. It is the kind touches followed by stares into sparkly eyes of those you made happy. It is the kisses that makes you lost hoping to never be found again. It is staring into the mountains watching the lights dance across the ridges. It is the little moments..... that is what life is all about!!💙💜💚
Our household gained a family member a couple of weeks ago. Meet Beija! She’s the sweetest snuggler and a ball of energy!! When we agreed to take her we had no idea what breed of dog she was (we still don’t but we have some guesses), but she has the best demeanor and she’s going to make a great running partner. We are so in love with her! .
We are about 85% decorated for Christmas and I’m not mad about it. We are hosting Thanksgiving this year so why not make our house feel like a cozy winter getaway?! Or at least that’s what I’m telling myself. .
My husband and I are running and 8 Mile Spartan this weekend and let’s just say we aren’t conditioned as we had hoped we would be. Life and injuries are things that are unforeseen so now we are just winging it. Here goes nothing! Wish us luck! 🥴 #doseofreallife .
We're introducing a longer cycling route for 2020. You'll be riding on the highest paved road in the world - The mighty Karakoram Highway! Are you ready? Book your tickets today! Link in Bio. #BEAGIANT#SwimBikeRun#BorithLakeTriathlon2020

real talk: sometimes I just want to post a pretty photo from a pretty location without having to worry about writing a caption - so here’s a pretty photo, from a pretty location, with this rambling explanation as its caption

Another shot with early morning light down on the river.
today’s adventure was hitting up @bouquet_seattle for some fresh cut flora + fauna to press for a new plant based poetry collection for @urbansproutsstore 🌿🥀 thought it’d be ready tuesday... but, i’m a perfectionist! 🌞
I was cracking up going thru these. What a fun shoot my ladies 😉 the first half of photos is the result of me asking them to hold hands 😂🤪♥️

UNWIND | Socrates once said “Beware the barrenness of a busy life”. I’ve learned more than ever this past season how important it is for us to unwind and take care of ourselves. This week go somewhere that will bring you the rest you need. Reward yourself for your hard work and don’t forget to remain grateful. We could all use a reminder to slow down. ❤️

Would swap this 4 degrees weather in a heartbeat ✈️ 🌞
Making crispy videos around Shenandoah and Richmond with the crew. Never did I think I’d be here - it seemed possible - but implausible. I have the duty to myself and my clients to kick off the top of the fire hydrant and start drinking. 📸 @nowthatsfresh
i designed & printed these high quality stickers 3 years ago, to freely give away to promote #SheRanWildly . it was kinda cool seeing them on laptops & such around my college & town, but i never printed more because well, they’re expensive, & #SheRanWildly is a non-profit. however just like any other, we have an overhead that comes out of my pocket. now that #ifog is up & running, i would love to have more resources available for those who need them. so i’m thinking of making a new line of stickers available this holiday season. 3 for $5? 💯 percent of proceeds go to #SheRanWildly (operating & materials). who’d buy some? feel free to share! 💋💌 love, b

📸 @leslie_restivo The first fall of snow is not only an event, it is a magical event.. You go to bed in one kind of world and wake up in another quite different, and if this is not enchantment then where is it to be found--Priestley❄⛰❤
This man makes me laugh so much. Find you one that keeps it interesting.
Now let’s talk about these boots in the picture. I bought some Columbia Michelin boots from a local outdoor sports store and I was over the moon about them. They had a good rating for ice as well as hiking. I tried them on in the store and they felt like they would get the job done.
Fast forward to the mountain in the North Cascades and all I was feeling was pain. They were excellent on the ice and in the snow but OUCH!
I would not suggest hiking in the boots at all. If you would like a great snow boot then they would probably work out just fine. After one hike that was 4 miles, I had bruises on my ankles and blisters all over my feet.
As much as I love Columbia apparel, I am going to have to pass on their shoes.
Do you wear Columbia shoes? If so, how’s your experience with them?

Who doesn’t love a good throwback?!Some of my best childhood memories were made out hunting with my Dad. I loved getting to experience another amazing hunt this year in Montana, chasing elk, with my Dad. He raised me wild 🙌🏼 .
Share your hunting throwbacks with us using the hashtag #bigskullcountry and we will throw some up in our story! Look forward to seeing some epic shots ✊🏼 #tbt
My ideal house is either: A) a van or B) a treehouse in the middle of a forest 😍
I prefer smaller spaces, less household distractions, less excess. Living more minimally gives me more headspace to appreciate the natural wonders of the world. The people I am with and the nature surrounding me makes a space a home more than the material pocessions or building itself. Don't you agree?
I’m gonna show you where it’s dark, but have no fear. 🌘

My boys. So thankful for each of them and all the time we’ve spent together. Going through this with Weston is hell, but I’m so happy he’s my dog and I’m so thankful for all the adventures we’ve had together. ❤️

The cutest desert pup! 🌵 I loved his coat at this time, it was so light. #throwbackthursday
When ball is life 😂😂😂 How cute is his face?! His peanut butter 🥜 scented @playologypets ball is his favorite! He brings it on car rides with him and holds it in his mouth when we stop for breaks, melts me. 😭❤️ What’s your dog’s favorite toy?! #playologypets
