We are thrilled that 14 sales occurred during our Mother's Day Promotional Sale and so very happy for all who found a special piece at a special price.
It has helped Soul Gallery resume its regular openings with wind in our sails following a long period where, like most small businesses, all was quiet.
We are deeply grateful to our patrons and their ongoing support of Soul Gallery. Hope to see you in the Gallery soon!

Oh this bathroom is just so darling 💚 And absolutely making me think of sweet bathroom plans to give our second bath some personality. Because I don’t have enough on my plate as it is right?! 🤣
On that note, before you head to @nicole_franzen page to check out all the other beautiful work she shares, let me know below... do you have a messy mind like I do?! That’s what many of us creatives are like right? Or am I just making up a quote to justify my behaviour 😜😭

Hey friends seems like there’s some new faces around here 👋 I realized after all this time I really never have made a post to give you more insight as to who I am behind the grid.
Well, to be honest I really don’t know where to start. So here’s a few random facts about me you’d probably never know!
Before doing what I do now I used to be an oral surgery assistant, and worked in the dental field for around 5 years and prior to that I studied a year of Civil Engineering- I know I’m all over the map here! I always thought I wanted to study one of two things as a child- either Dentistry or go into Architecture. So I guess both of those fields we’re heading into that path 🤷♀️. In high school I remember dreaming about graphic design and interior design and I really don’t know why I never studied them. I had a long period where I used to spend all my empty spares, lunch hours and spare time by myself sketching and painting in my schools art room and remember having the same in depth conversations over and over again with my teacher about the ‘what-ifs’ outside of school. She pushed me so hard to pursue a career in Art and study it. But 🤷♀️. I’m really passionate about design, which is why it makes so much sense that I’m studying it all these years later. But it’ll always feel like a nip in the butt how I didn’t pursue it sooner, or Art or even graphic design. Because shoot! Graphic design would have really been nifty with what I’m doing now.
Anywho, here’s a little piece of me you most probably never knew. I’d love to hear something about you friend! Let’s have a chat in the comments 😊

Umbrella plant - is an extremely fast growing plant, it can grow up to 6 feet high. Easy to care for.
If you’re hosting a holiday dinner and want to make your table look cute but have no idea where to start clap your hands! 👏🏻
While you’re clapping, head on over to my stories where I’m sharing how I create a pretty tablescape (for any season) that will wow all your guests.
Finally, if you really want to follow in my footsteps make sure to set your table approximately 10-15 business days before the scheduled dinner party. Don’t let anyone in your family sit at the table, touch it, or even BREATHE on it until the big day. It’s a work of art after all and the reason why I eat 50% of my dinners on the couch. 😂

She’s seamless baby!
Celebrating so loud for the fact that the #projectsouthmoor isn’t gonna have ANY grout lines to clean thanks to the amazing @topcret_canada microcement product we’re using on the showers and bathroom floors!
Topcrete is a super thin layer of a contemporary cement-like finish, comes in many colours and textures, and is basically a minimalist’s (and tile-scrubbing-hater’s) dream!
We chose white for the showers so it will look seamless to the walls (like this photo), and chose black and grey for the two bathroom floors.
I can’t wait to show you the final look when this house is complete!
Everything from those stair treads down to the placement of those two book ends have me swooning. 🖤 I just love this vignette from SM! .
Did you read @studiomcgee latest blog post? It’s such a feel good read, and really had me thinking about my own home. I have a lot to say and I think I’ll just have to make a blog post myself to share those thoughts. Then I can do my share leaving my lovely friends with something feel good to read too! But until then, don’t forget to check out theirs 😉🤍
Friends, I haven’t given you a fireplace update in awhile but I was considering a design with board and batten. After seeing the Kidd design from @lightanddwell I can’t stop thinking about vertical ship lap everywhere, including potentially for our fireplace design instead 🤪
I really dislike horizontal ship lap, it’s just too farmhouse for me and has been so overdone 🤷♀️. But when it’s laid vertically it’s such a classic mix of traditional and modern and I’ve been loving it lately! And @lightanddwell uses it so well!
With everything that’s going on in the world right now, I really appreciate my small space on IG and the community that comes with it. I love the inspiration that surrounds me on here and it’s been keeping me distracted during these surreal times.
After checking out my socials and blog 😜Don’t forget to check out @lightanddwell during your spare downtime. They do such great work and have a lovely blog within their website. It’s worth a read friends! 🥰😘

Hey there you lovely people, I am back from my much needed digital break over the holidays!
It’s honestly amazing what stopping and slowing down can do to replenish the ol’ inspiration when it hasn’t been knocking. For most of my life I’ve believed that the more I did, the more I produced, the faster I accomplished things…the more I became. For so long I thought that to be busy meant to be successful. Obviously it’s healthy to set goals and seeing those goals and visions take shape is one of the sweetest manifestations of life. But I also need to frequently remind myself to just STOP and take a dang rest from time to time. I think we ALL need to intentionally take time to stop and rest...you don’t always need to be chasing the next goal.
Take the trees in winter, for example (getting metaphorical here, stay with me) ... The trees in winter don’t need to constantly “grind” or “hustle” to plan and get ahead for their next successful season. They never need to force a bloom just because of internal or external pressure to constantly create and produce; They just stop and chill, trusting that when the time is right, it’ll feel good to bloom again.
Anyways, long story short, after a few weeks of rest I’m finally feeling ready to chase my creativity into the new year and I’m so glad you’re here for it!
