I’m a Mom and I’m crazy busy with life just like you but I’m not too busy to fill my own cup up because my family deserves the best of me not the rest of me.⠀
You may feel like you don't even have the time to work on/take care of yourself but I promise you do, you’re just not making yourself a priority. I know that’s not easy to hear but I need you to know that you DESERVE to look and feel your best! Your kids need to see their mommy SHINE with so much life so they can see how to shine too.⠀
It's not about having the time, it’s about making the time to do the things that will make you better each and every day.⠀
If that means waking up a half hour earlier, do it sis, it’ll be worth it.⠀
If it means watching less TV or scrolling less social, DO IT - scrolling or binging isn’t helping you in any way, shape or form so swap those mindless habits for intention self care ✨💪🏼⠀
If I can, you CAN squeeze in some healthy “me time” into your routine and I promise YOU👏WILL👏THANK👏ME👏FOR👏IT! 🙌🙌🙌.⠀

CHECKING IN (long post alert) and I’m a little embarrassed by the before pics but whatever 🙄
Let me just start by saying.. I NEVER EVER thought I’d enjoy working out. I was lazy and thought since I was skinny I didn’t have to. 🤷🏽♀️ Fast forward to July 2019... I was blessed with a gorgeous baby boy. Being 31... Let’s just say my body didn’t “bounce back” like it has before.
Sept of 2019 I started taking my fitness journey seriously with the help and guidance of @khaosfitness87 .
I’ve learned so much. Not only about form, weights, and strength but about my self as well. He pushes me way past my physical limits and more than I could ever push myself!
Here’s my 1 month check in... its only up from here baby!!
the last few months I considered myself in a cut. I didn’t do anything crazy. I worked out several times a week, ate a normal diet, and tried to do something active every single day. I wasn’t crazy strict with my diet or workouts but rather I used my workouts as therapy sessions and ate intuitively. I lost ten pounds🤷🏽♀️
I’ve gotten to this point of acceptance with my body in any stage. Ten pounds slimmer, ok I’m still gonna work it, ten pounds thicker? STILLLLL gonna work it. I love my body in every stage. Eventually I’ll get to my end goal of being a thicc Queen👸🏼 but in the moment I’m most worried about my mental health and the fact that my body can still perform the tasks I need it to. As long as everything’s good there then I am happy and will enjoy seeing my body transform and look better through every cut and bulk. Here’s to bulking season🥂 time to gain those ten pounds and some back in hopes that it all goes STRAIGHT TO THE BOOTY🤪😂🍑🍑
Quit comparing yourself to others that may be further along in their fitness journey than you!! It’s been only 2.5 years since I started working out and only 1.5 years since I became a certified personal trainer and actually knew what I was doing in the gym. Even so, I am still learning about my body and what works for it vs what doesn’t. And there’s still so much to learn!!
Everyone is at a different place in life so accept your journey where it is and don’t be discouraged by where others may be in theirs. You will get there in time. Stay grindin💛💛

I love active traveling so much that sometimes I forget how good it is to lay by the pool and do nothing. Just chill and relax the whole day. To be fair, I did a fun 4km sightseeing run + a walk in the city which was nice but it wasn’t a real workout and didn’t leave me tired.
I know you already know rest days are important 😁 Days like this can recharge you for serious work. Just use that energy wisely.
