I find this is the hardest time of the year to find motivation to ride. By February, it feels like it's been winter forever, but spring is still a month away.
The trails are at their worse after months of rain, and riders, walkers and horses chewing them up don't help.
A lot of people who live in warm climates don't ride in the wet as it damages the trails, but we don't really have that luxury in the UK. Either we stay inside for 4 months, or we have to deal with the grim conditions.
This trail looks picturesque, but there was a super muddy climb to get here, and just after this was a path across the field in the background, which was waterlogged. A quick crossing of the main road then led to the muddiest bridleway I've ever seen. The puddles were more like small lakes, and were almost impassable without getting wet feet, even on foot.
Se oli semmonen lenkki se. 😅
Eka käydään läpi, et kuinka paljon liikuntaa kummallakin on takana. Painaako jaloissa tarpeeksi.
Sit valitaan mahdollisimman hankala reitti. 😂😂😂
Muutaman kilometrin sai tunkatakkin, koska takaspäinhän ei voi kääntyä. 😅
FRANKENFATTY IS HERE - A little about her... it used to be an On One Fatty.... the dropper post isn’t supposed to fit, it’s an old fox transfer that has had the internals glued together to sort of function... PNW remote and a very bad custom cable routing job... drills were involved. The rims and tires are anyone’s guess... the back tire is doing its thing and changes color every season. The saddle is from my wife’s Specialized, probably female specific... it works. Pivot carbon bars with that absolutely terrible WT(F)B griploc system.... a hack paint job.. xpedo pedals that were given to me... it does have brakes and a working derailleur. It rips, and it looks evil.
