3 years ago, @lukefuszard & I both ran against the DNC seat. I was fortunate to win the DNC race & in the process gained a good friend. I was happy to help Luke’s campaign in 2019 and am inspired by how he progressed since our race in 2017. Going from that to seeing him win his race for Middleton Council District 5 is simply awesome! Middleton is now better off with Luke involved on the Council Board. Luke is a good man; a great father and husband and he’s a fantastic public servant.
Here we are 3 years later, I am proud to say that Luke has endorsed our slate, with Martha Love, Janet Bewley, @andrewwerthmann and @kharyp Khary Penebaker, for re-election as DNC Representatives. It is truly an honor to receive Luke’s endorsement. It is a testament to the fact that candidates can campaign aggressively, but without attacking each other. It means the world to me to have Luke’s support. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Dear Democratic Party Leader,
More than ever, we need transparency and accountability in the Democratic Party. The four of us, Martha Love, WI State Senator Janet Bewley, Eau Claire City Councilman Andrew Werthmann & Khary Penebaker, are running for re-election to continue to rebuild trust in the DNC and to make our party stronger by communicating and listening. We will continue to work to create a DNC that offers a transparent look into practices and decisions—not just defending the status quo.
With our experience and focus, we will make franchising voters a top goal, while ensuring that we elect more Democrats at every level across the country and Wisconsin.
As individuals, we are committed to working with you around the state to earn your trust and build connections between various constituencies that advocate for a variety of issues that matter to all of us. As a team, we represent the geographic and racial diversity that makes us great and we will organize and fight for the DNC that Wisconsinites deserve.
I love being a Democrat!
I love being a Waukesha Democrat!
I love being a Wisconsin Democrat!
I love being able to serve as your representative!
Every four years, at the DPW State Convention, delegates who are present elect four members from Wisconsin to the Democratic National Committee (DNC). DNC members represent our state at national meetings, serve on the Democratic Party of Wisconsin’s Administrative and Executive Committees, and work to build strong bonds between the state and national parties. Voting will be on the evening of Friday, June 12th during the online 2020 DPW State Convention.
We humbly ask that you entrust us with your vote and your support at this year’s virtual state convention. We ask that you allow us the opportunity to continue to serve as your representatives in our national party.
Together, we are the Democratic Party!
State Senator Janet Bewley
Eau Claire City Councilman @andrewwerthmann

Who says you can’t see a smile behind a mask? 🇺🇸 Nomination papers: delivered. Purse cookie: eaten. If you don’t know what that is, welcome to the campaign- you’ll soon know 🍪. And official candidacy forms notarized. Happy weekend, everyone! If you still have a nomination form to submit, we will have a second packet of supplemental signatures delivered to Madison next Friday. Thank you, thank you! Stay safe 💙 #robynrepresents#votevining#wisconsin2020
Thank you to everyone who mailed back your signatures to get me on the ballot— in less than a week, we have collected 105 signatures! (Woo-hoo! More than halfway there!) I wish I were seeing your faces in person instead of tearing open envelopes, but I hope you’re safe, and I can’t wait to see everyone as soon as possible!!! #robynrepresents#wisconsin2020

Kids these days💜🌈💛And, a community rising up to build another community-based campaign looking the challenge of 2020 campaigning in the eye and ready to—leave no rock unpainted! (P.S. Introverts, this is SO your year 🙌) 💙🌈💜 #robynrepresents#wisconsin2020

I ran out to catch the sidewalk excitement before it washed away, and caught this sweet family having dinner when I showed up for their vote-your-values obstacle course. I made sure to do the WHOLE COURSE as they cheered through the window (burpees are hard on wet sidewalks, BYTHEWAY😂). They said it was really fun to talk with the kids about the issues that mattered to them while working on the obstacle course: community engagement, fair maps, parks, education, and health care! And for the record, chalk “polling” is the best “polling” 🙃🤗🙃 #robynrepresents#wisconsin2020
I did back to back workouts this morning. Ran an hour outside starting at 6:30 am. Finished and jumped on my bike downstairs. I only had to do 45 minutes. The first 10 minutes was tough then I got into my grove. I watched my heart rate closely to not bike in zone 3. I then had a 15 minute run. I watched The fighting Preacher. I don’t suggest doing this because then I was crying while biking. But then again maybe this will simulate race day? I’ll be bawling? Ha ha. #ironman#Wisconsin2020#trainerroad#covidmemes

The governor of Wisconsin had made a list ditch effort to delay today’s primaries but the Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled against him, allowing in person voting to proceed despite the current covid 19 pandemic.
Had Hunter drop me off 5 miles away so I had to run home from the Oquirrh golf course. I had swam in the morning and then ran about 5 hours later. It was a nice day & I was over dressed. Ended up taking my sweatshirt off, hat & gloves. Got in 6 miles. My body feels tired. I’m also back on the band wagon of eating healthier. Nothing like running & feeling your stomach hang. I promised myself after St. George I wouldn’t do the Ironman at this weight... well now is the time to lose it. Amazing how I’m 6 weeks into a program working out six days a week and can successfully not lose weight. Pretty sure I’m in the small percentage that can do this. I think about a friend who told me the quickest way to get faster on the bike is to lose weight. Maybe- that I’m talking about it, I’ll do it. #ironman#momof6#triathlontraining#wisconsin2020

Day 11- My Kids were out of school so it was perfect to meet Sandra at the Jordan River trail. Ran an easy 8 miles and conviently there was a waffle love close by! Best after race breakfast! I’m hooked. Most of the conversation was about the conoravirus. Both S and I have stalked up on TP. Anyone else stalking up? #wafflelove#ironmantraining#wisconsin2020
Let’s see those “I voted” stickers! We are so proud of the amazing turnout today- especially from our young and or first time voters! This is how we change our communities and shift the power back to the people! We’re fired up with no plans of slowing down!! Next election is April 7th. We got this. #GOTV#Wisconsin2020#YouthVote#FirstTimeVoting#ImmigrantsVote
Day 2 So unfortunately Tooele’s Pratt pool is closed right now. (For two weeks)
Fortunately Vasa has their amazingly huge pool I got to swim in. It’s 16 yards. I have a watch that has a custom feature for yards, it wouldn’t let me go as low as 16. Doesn’t make sense to me why it has a custom feature and you can’t customize it to 16 yards. Maybe I’ll ask someone about that.
The hardest part for me is going by myself. Are you a solo workout person or friend? #vasafitness#pool#ironman#wisconsin2020

Tomorrow starts the adventure we’ve been planning for years. I can’t pinpoint the moment when Sandra & I decided someday we would do a full Ironman, but we dreamed about it for years. Tomorrow is our first day of training for Wisconsin 2020, Sunday September 13th. I’ll post more about us later this week. #ironman#dreams#Wisconsin2020

Well we are in Wisconsin.
It is February.
But it can be pretty.

Meeting elected officials like Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes who are rooted in activism and stay true to their communities gives me so much hope for the future! Progressive ideas (as if access to healthcare, welcoming immigrants, respecting women’s bodies, treating gay and trans folks with dignity, and cleaning up the planet were revolutionary??) have a shot at winning this election year, but we need to show up. We need to vote. Wisconsin has same day voter registration, but get registered early. First election is Feb. 18- and will determine who makes it on the ballot for WI Supreme Court. Ed Fallone was endorsed by Voces de la Frontera Action. He used to serve on their board. He cares about immigrants and treating others with respect and equality. #Wisconsin2020#wisconsingirl#progressivepolitics#elections2020#wisconsinvotes#wisupremecourt
