Scenes from Canggu 💙.
With Bali opening up again at the moment and to international tourists in September, I thought it was quite timely to feature some businesses over the coming months.
I have already selected a number of businesses that women already operate or own in Bali.
If you are a female with a business in Bali and would like to be considered for a feature here & on my website under the title
“Women in Business in Bali”.
Please send me a DM and I will send you the details about how we can feature your business as we go forward with reopening to tourism.
I would really like to see some female “Balinese” local businesses here too. [Posting in September & October].
*Please note I can’t promise that everyone that contacts me will feature as I will be doing one per week only and the business must align with my interests of: Food ~Culture ~Art ~ Design ~Boutique Hotels & experiences that I think are appropriate for my followers.
Probably the biggest tourist rip-off I’ve ever had, BUT.... super refresh & delish after a day in the sun!
I’ve been making my own version of this to make ‘Limoncello Margaritas’ at home for about 1/100,000 of the cost.
Shot of Limoncello
Shot of Tequila
Sparkling water or lemon soda
Dash of stevia or sugar syrup
Shit ton of ice
Blend that bad boy up & you got yourself an awesome drink! #extraordinarytravels

Did you know The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque has The world largest hand-knotted carpet?
The main prayer hall of the Mosque has it! It took about 8 months to finish the design, one year to knot it and 2 months to bring it one place and knot it all together.
Such hard work but worth the view.
When you can't travel far, rediscovering your own city can work magic!!

Berlin's most instagrammable places 🏰 Gendarmenmarkt ⬇️ на русском ⠀
🇬🇧 I hope I still have some time to take more pics with Berlin's Sights before tourists flooded the city 📷 Gendarme Square or, as the locals say, Gendarmenmarkt, is definitely on my list. It's one of the most beautiful squares in Berlin.
Let me know if you want to know more about the most instagrammable places in Berlin? 🏰⠀

Tintin in Brussels! We all relate Brussels with chocolates, fries, waffles and of course with its beer.
But Brussels will take you down to the childhood memory lane with none other than Tintin. The colorful Tintin murals will surely make you nostalgic.
5 TIPS FOR YOUR VENICE TRIP📝
📑SAVE this post for your future trip to Venice
1️⃣How long to spend in Venice? We felt that two days was perfect. Venice is very compact, and you can easily see all major attractions even in one day, but we’d recommend two days to have time to explore quieter neighbourhoods and in case of bad weather.
2️⃣How to avoid crowds? That’s a tough one, but your best bet is to venture off to small streets of residential neighbourhoods like Dorsoduro and Cannaregio.
3️⃣Gondola ride or no? The price is steep (80 euro for 30-40 min ride and 120 euro at night), but for us, it was a bucketlist item to do. We loved our gondola ride experience, and if you decide to do it, make sure that a gondolier takes you through quiet narrow canals instead of spending the entire ride on the Grand Canal. ❗If you are on the budget, consider taking a vaporetto/a water bus – a form of public transport in Venice, which is a cheaper way to see Venice from water.
4️⃣Lookout points? Did you know there is an observation deck on the rooftop of T Fondaco Dei Tedeschi shopping mall? ❗It’s right on the Grand Canal and it’s FREE! Advance reservations are required.
5️⃣Best food? 🚫Don’t expect to have the best pizza of your life here – wood fired pizza ovens are banned in Venice because of fire safety concerns. Try local cuisine instead. Each region of Italy has its own cuisine based on common local ingredients, and for Venice, it’s lots of fish and seafood dishes as it sits on the water. 🦑Try cicchetti (finger foods similar to Spanish tapas) at Osteria Al Squero and grab a bigoli-to-go (Venetian freshly made pasta) at Bigoi.
Visiting Venice can be overwhelming, but with a little bit of research, you won’t fall for tourist traps. Hope you find our tips helpful!😊

What do you think of when you think of Singapore? 🤔 If you've visited or seen photos, you might think of the world's nicest airport, insanely good food, Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, or even Crazy Rich Asians! 😅
But here's what one of the "regular" parts of Singapore looks like! This is actually the hallway that leads to my grandpa's flat! I just love how Singapore has color everywhere! 💙
While travelling back from the Lake Windermere to London, I had a short visit to this beautiful town named Buxton.
Buxton is the highest market town in England, situated amid the ageless beauty of the Peak District. This small quiet town is famous for quite a few things, the stunning ornamental gardens, spectacular Georgian and Victorian architecture, and mineral-rich spring water.
It is also said that this town could be the center of England!😮

🥃 P O S I T A N O 🥃 Essenza di Negroni, essence of Negroni, is one of Le Sirenuse's signature cocktails. It combines three different kinds of Negroni - so three different gins, vermouths and bitters - to achieve an exceptional blend. Add in a low-slung, crescent moon; the Positano hillside studded with lights; the dark and lovely sea beyond the terrace of Aldo's restaurant - and well - that's an unrepeatable kind of alchemy! @lesirenuse#testaccina#postcardsfromitaly@thenegroniking
