What are your favourite items to get in your stocking? - aside from chocolate of course. My mom - I MEAN SANTA - always used to stock me up on socks, mascara, gloss, toiletries and fun pens! My stocking was always my favourite part of Christmas. It felt so personal and it was always so fun to dig for surprises 🖤 ⠀
So what were your fave stocking items?

My latest obsession!!! For the last 3 months I’ve been using the Beauty Works skincare line by @itworkshq
and I absolutely love it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’m not the girl to devote myself to a routine because LIFE gets hectic. I’m known for forgetting or skipping a day(s). But I’d held myself accountable to using Beauty Works twice a day and I’m amazed at how well my skin looks. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Even my husband has been using the product and he says “his skin has consistently improved and it’s visibly brighter”. Y’all he’s literally aging backwards and it’s totally not fair. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Starting today week I will be sharing some of my favorite things with y’all. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ With 18 days until Christmas there are still people that I have to shop for. If you’re in the same boat. Don’t worry I’ve got you covered. Head over to my website to snag those last minute stocking stuffers. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Who do you still have to purchase Christmas gifts for??? I’d love to chat below⬇️⬇️⬇️
Everyone feels a bit crap about their business at some time or another - even when I got to the top position in my company, I had times where I would not sign someone up and I would think “I thought everyone said yes when you’re in the top position” - which of course is not the case!
So if you’re feeling like everything you touch turns to mud, then you’re not speaking to enough people, and you’re just experiencing what most others do too. Rejections happen to everyone. It’s a natural part of the process.
I have a super cute (and very happy) assistant this morning ❤︎

💯💯💯 I’ve started businesses when I didn’t have the money 💰. I’ve paid for mentors and courses when I didn’t have the money 💴. I’ve went to Seminars when I didn’t have the money 💵. I’ve invested in myself and bought tools, books, and other resources when I didn’t have the money 💰. So that’s why today - I don’t have a job anymore but I still got money 💰. Most people wait until they get their stuff together to get their stuff together but if you never get your stuff together when your stuff is not together then your stuff will never be together ❗️
First off, yes I ate it before I took a photo. Soz not soz.
I’m sitting in my driveway right now typing this out. It’s 10:20AM. Saturday mornings we normally go and get groceries.
This morning Jack and MB are working on stuff at home, and I’m going to the store by myself. I got all of the way to the grocery store, decided to fill up the car, and realized I left my wallet at home.
Normally, this would have been my reaction 🤬 It would have completely ruined my morning. I would have thought about the time and gas I wasted.
This morning my reaction was 🤣 I just laughed it off. I turned around, drove back home, without anything EXCEPT a positive attitude. I am thankful for more time driving & listening to music (one of my favorite things to do), and to be able to not worry about having to rush to be anywhere.
This opportunity hasn’t just helped my body, it has SHIFTED my mindset & how I look at life. If that isn’t enough of a reason to just try this for one month, then I don’t know what is!
My day isn’t ruined. My morning will still be productive. My attitude isn’t going to be sh*t. My heart is grateful, even when things don’t go to my plan.
Before heading home, I was like well I’ll eat this Chick-Fil-A mint. I thought to myself, why did this happen this morning?
Was it so I could miss an accident?
Was it so I could write this post and help someone?
Was it because I’m meant to smile at someone in the grocery store today that absolutely NEEDS a smile from a stranger?
I know it was “mint to be” that I left my wallet at home. I don’t know why, but God knows why 🙌🏼🖤

Saturday's are made of family time, laughs, playing, and me working (sharing my closet) from the comfort of my own living room! Love this crazy hectic blessed life I lead ❤❤ Reselling is just one part of that but I enjoy the freedoms I get from it all the same 👨👩👧

I don’t want my children to follow in my footsteps. I want them to take the path next to me and go further than I could have ever dreamt possible. ~unknown
Been loving all the enneagram chats lately ✨and I’m wondering; which one are you?? I’ve taken several and they all vary slightly but I always have majority of enneagram 3 in me. It makes sense because I’m VERY competitive. Ain’t no such thing as a casual game of anything with me, I want to win. Always 🙈⠀
It’s interesting with enneagrams because there’s good and bad parts to all of them! Being fiery and energetic can be hugely helpful for me in what I do. I play hard and I give it 110% always. And throughout the years I’ve learned that although the attitude of a 3 is where I personally thrive, it isn’t always helpful when it’s projected on someone who doesn’t operate their best on that wavelength. ⠀
Knowing your enneagram will help you in many many ways because growth starts with awareness. And it’ll help you MASSIVELY in leadership. I genuinely believe that you begin to flourish in life when you learn who you are and you learn how those parts of you can help others. Spend your time growing others and you’ll realize you’ve been growing your life all the while. ⠀
So cheers to learning more about ourselves, growing who we are, and working hard for recognition if you’re a a three 😂 I was beyond excited to get this flowers for hard work! what do you work hard for??⠀

Really enjoyed meeting Santa this morning at the coal minning museum. Sophia was excited this morning, but not so excited when we saw him. I'd definitely reccomend as was a lovely experience.

Sometimes we r so worried of what others might think or say that we put this wall up and brush all the shitty feeling’s under the carpet.
But let me tell you it’s just a temporary fix and sooner or later we all have to deal with the shit so do yourself a favour and allow yrself to recognise and feel the shitty mess and give yourself permission to move forward.
My anxiety has been so bad yesterday that I’ve was unbearable and all because I want to continue brushing my feelings under the fucking carpet. I know that its not possible to keep putting up this positive front and the only way I can move forward is to deal with my feelings and allow myself to be more vulnerable.

Half the house was sick last week. Looks like it really is catching up to Astrid and myself 😷😷 While the boys are out selling Christmas trees for the boy scouts, Astrid and I are staying in. Taking medicine and laying down with a box of tissues.
Still working, because I do it from my phone. 🙏🙏🙌🙌 Not having to go into work or find coverage while you feel like death? Priceless. •
THIS is how I quit my job
I just want to start by saying I had no idea this photo even existed until I found it on Justin’s phone.
Here you can see I’m pregnant (duh 😆) and extremely focused 🤓 Justin put his hat on my head in an attempt to distract me (didn’t work) 😆 .
I was probably trying to squeeze in some work before dinner, after a long day teaching...Or it was a Sunday night when I was stressed about the week ahead. Or both 😆 Either way I was determined to create a job for myself that I loved!
I am so proud of this girl in the picture. I had so many excuses NOT to do this.
“I’m too pregnant.” “I’m too tired”
“I worked all day”
“I’m not making any money”
“This is too hard”
But I kept going. I hustled really hard. I focused on what I wanted. I found the motivation everyday when I woke up. I refused to give up 🌟
I’m so happy I made the decision to quit my job and start a business 👏🏼 And now I help moms like you do the same!!

I used to walk outside every day. In my ball cap and yoga pants, I would circle my old neighborhood in Steubenville again and again. Everyone knew me. I knew everyone. And every walk was a joy.
Then, I married and moved. We tore a house apart, adopted a baby, and started watching him grow. Not surprisingly, somewhere along the way, the walking stopped. Between too many contractors, too many deadlines, and too little sleep, I always had an excuse to sit.
Four months ago, though, I decided I’d had enough sitting. I needed to walk. So, Toby and I started heading out every morning, at 8. And we have continued heading out, through heat and humidity, wind and drizzle, and now frosty temps and snow.
We walk briskly for 1 hour, passing rambling Victorian homes, century-old trees, children on their way to school, and parents on their way to work. We say hi to Miss Jackie and Miss Nancy—our local crossing guards. We wave at construction workers and street crews. And we always stop to admire puppies and squirrels.
As we walk, Toby squeals with delight and sits enraptured. Me? I breathe. I think. I pray. But mostly, I rest.
Yes, my body is moving. But my soul is resting. It’s not writing or cleaning or cooking. It’s not anxious about keeping Toby alive or thwarting his latest act of destruction. It’s just being. It’s free.
I haven’t lost a pound these 4 months. But I don’t mind. Because in the hour we walk, I lose something better. I lose the weight of my worries and fears. I leave them behind at the house, with the work, the laundry, and the mess.
When we get home, I’m no less exhausted, no less busy. But I’m always saner. And grateful. These walks have become my joy again, worth every dollar I spent on cold weather gear and every ounce of effort it took to make walking a habit once more.
Why am I sharing this? Maybe because someone needs to know that being able to move our bodies is a gift. Or that weight loss is not the greatest benefit of exercise. Or that winter is warmer when you spend some of it outdoors. Or, most of all, that the best rest for a mama of a busy baby can be found on a walk. Or maybe even all of it. Like I did.

CHEERS 🥂 to surviving our first official Cyber Monday boo!!! We did it!! #bestdayever Now yo girl needs a nap and a beach 🏖 ... better yet, a nap on a beach! .
What did you score on major sale this past weekend??
Hi, I’m Emily, and this is a picture of me from a few years ago, back when I used to wear pretty dresses, charm small children, meet writing deadlines, throw fancy parties, and shower.
That season was lovely. It was blessed. But I prefer this season. The one where I’m still wearing a ball cap at 1 pm. The one where I just got off an important work call during which my 15-month-old son had explosive diarrhea and covered us both in poop. And the one where I should be working on the talk I’m prepping to give tomorrow in front of almost 1,000 women, but instead am holding my sleeping baby. I waited 43 years to be the mom covered in poop, and I still think it’s pretty glorious.
The talk for tomorrow is about St. Catherine of Siena and St. Hildegard of Bingen and what they have to say to a suffering Church. They were amazing women who did amazing things. But I know they didn’t feel amazing. They struggled. They hurt. They felt insufficient for the work to which God called them. I take so much comfort in that.
Someone described me today as “bad-ass.” Maybe, from the outside, I seem that way. But I don’t feel bad-ass. Mostly, I feel tired. My deepest desire in life, besides becoming a saint, is to sleep until I wake up, with no 4 am alarm. And to win the lottery. Maybe Catherine and Hildegard felt that way, too. Maybe they didn’t want to go trotting off to Avignon or reprimand anti-popes. Maybe they just wanted to kick back, drink a martini (gin, always gin), and re-watch The Crown, because Alex Jennings is the best character actor on television. Or maybe that’s just me.
Either way, Hildegard and Catherine bring me a lot of comfort. They remind me that no matter how tired or weak or ill-equipped we feel, God can do amazing things through us, if we just say yes. Or alternately, if we’re just too tired to say no.
If you’re on the Too Tired to Say No track to heaven, too, please introduce yourself! I’ll offer up some of my exhaustion for you, and maybe you could offer up a bit of yours for me!
Making money online is literally so fun and exciting for me! It’s something that I honestly never really thought I would do, but here I am. While I have no interest in transitioning from my full-time job, I still enjoy making money (helping others) from the comfort of my own home. I’m posting this in case anyone needs any encouragement. If I can do it, you can do it too. In fact, I’m here to help. I offer Etsy coaching, YouTube coaching, small business coaching and more where I share literally everything that I know. If you would like to schedule a session, there’s a “book” button on my main Instagram page!
