It’s the season of resolutions. It’s the season that some become more. Some explore further. Some believe and walk with a greater faith. It’s the time that so many residents of the fitness community joke and chastise. It’s the season that some in this glorious industry show their worst side. For the sake of? Jokes? We’re better than that. We’re much more than that
If we want to be taken seriously, give seriousness to others. If we want to be felt by the heart of the world, we need to pour out of ours as we hope to receive. How dare you, ever even joke or hint that a starting line is pathetic or stupid a nuisance. They aren’t in your way, YOU are in theirs. You’re the obstacle, not their weight, not their mindset, not their efforts, not their goals, YOU ARE. Remind yourself of your place in the industry, what you represent, what you want to stand for. Want to be taken as a serious professional? Act like it, at ALL times, people watch, people don’t forget, people listen, and they remember the idea that you painted of yourself even if for just a moment in time. You are responsible for every single move you ever make
There’s more than enough room that the top. Move OVER, make way, because they’re coming and they’re hungry, are you? I know I am, and I don’t mind sharing the climb one BIT

I don’t know who needs to hear this but...Stop, stopping yourself from being the best that YOU can be! What ever it is you have been thinking about going after, but constantly talking yourself out of. STOP STOPPING yourself and go all in 🙌🏾👏🏾.

А ещё , если есть желание научиться чему то новому, расширить, так сказать, свои горизонты никогда , повторюсь, никогда не поздно это сделать, какая бы ни была эта отрасль. Может ко мне в 30 пришло озарение, и я хочу попробовать себя в стези визажиста, программиста, тренера, блогера ..., да куча вариантов на самом деле ..) А может я уже что-то не плохо вытворяю, почему бы не улучшить навыки , и не так важно, что именно, если это ДЕЙСТВИТЕЛЬНО хочется и доставляет удовольствие... не стоит так заблуждаться, думая, что умеешь, знаешь на достаточно хорошем уровне., Ведь,... нет предела совершенству, да? )

A few years ago I attended a workshop for yoga during the holidays. We were all asked in to sit in a circle share if the holidays made us anxious or depressed. These were two emotions I didn’t consciously connect to the season. But when I thought about it I realized it sometimes made me very depressed. I teach yoga and write music and every year financially I’m not in a place to give the gifts I wish I could. I would feel ashamed and critical of my progress, often choosing to stay the holiday in LA and take on a third job. Becoming a martyr for nearly a decade...This workshop was the first time I had been honest with myself and how it really made me feel. I was able then to heal this subconscious stress that I unknowingly suppressed. If you are struggling this holiday, for as beautiful as they are, I know it can be triggering with work, money family etc... but honoring it, sitting with it and breathing through it creates a safe environment for you to hold joy.
