What are you waiting for? These girls would like to know. 🐂😉
Motivation in this life...it’s as reliable as the weather in Montana. We just can’t always count on it. That’s where a few little tricks in your back pocket might come in handy, to help you see it through:
▫️Set out your workout clothes for the next day. Or, wear them to bed.
▫️Look over the next day’s workout the night before so you know what to expect and what’s coming—familiarize and anticipate.
▫️Set an alarm 🚨 and make a date with yourself that you plan to complete your day’s sweat session. When that alarm goes off, count down: 5,4,3,2,1 and go! No hesitation. Don’t talk yourself out of it. Not only are you worth it, but you can do hard things.
▫️Just do it. Nike’s right. And you can.
▫️Have a great playlist and add a few new songs every few months to keep it fun!
▫️Pick out a few fun, easy, nutritious recipes to try each week. Make that grocery list and either order online (if you have that luxury) or for those rural folk, on your next town run, get those ingredients and try them out!
▫️Grab that fun water bottle and keep it out all day (with you)...then sip, sip, sip. Ahhh 💦
▫️Accountability: get yourself a sweat pal who’s going to make 💯 sure that you stick to your guns 💪🏽! She’s that angel 👼🏼on your shoulder telling you that you’ve got this, no doubt, now get after it.
▫️If you workout at home, set out the equipment you’ll need for the next day’s session. That’s one less thing to worry about! If you’re a gym goer, great—take full advantage of the atmosphere.
▫️Pick out a verse or quote that speaks to you and write it down. Stick it on a place that you frequent every morning and say it out loud. Why did you pick that verse? Tell yourself out loud and follow through.
▫️Lastly, but arguably most importantly, pray for strength to follow through and for a mindset focused on things above as you work towards taking great care of the only body you’ve got—His temple, the home you live in.
