Christmastime is my favorite time of the year. Sure the music is amazing. Cuddling under a blanket next to a fire with spiked cocoa is amazing. Snowball fights are amazing. But what I love most is the atmosphere of giving. For some reason we think about spreading joy more during the holidays than any other time of year. My goal for 2020 is to find a way to continue that sentiment throughout the full twelve months. Why do people need kindness any less in May than they do in December?
As an investment, I would rather mine some Bitcoin.
Holding dollars in your bank account does nothing for you except earn the banks money 🙄
Take back your right to earn from your capital and not let it sit dormant doing NOTHING
consider mining some #CRYPTO#CURRENCY
Trade them, we can help you do that
Buy at the right time and even give you loans on your investment portfolio
Burnout occurs when our work and life demands are out of balance. Knowing your signs of burnout can help prevent it from taking over and can be an indication that you need to address what is causing your distress. I know I am burntout when I come home from a day of work and feel completely drained and want to do nothing but watch Netflix. Then I know I need some self-care and take myself for a walk to a peaceful place and take a break from technology.
What are your signs of burnout?
What’s good, Yale 📚 Thankful to be invited to participate in such a phenomenal opportunity at one of the world’s top universities. Proudly representing the California sunshine, Cisco, and USC ✌🏼 Grateful to collaborate with and learn alongside scholars hand-picked from all across the world!
It doesn't matter whether I go far, around the corner, or do a short ride. I can say, 'I have done it.' There is a lot of satisfaction in that. ————————————————————————-

When you recover or discover something that nourishes your soul and brings joy, care enough about yourself to make room for it in your life. I do that every day. Even today!

Saturday Strength- start the weekend out strong! 💪⠀⠀
It's quite common to look at the weekend as an opportunity to party hard- you've worked all week, so that must mean weekend are work free....right?⠀
Nope. Not so much!⠀⠀
Instead, I try to look at the weekend as a change to prioritize myself, and my needs- including the very real need for moment and exercise! 🏋️♀️⠀
Rather than being 'hard work', I try to make my weekend work fun focused! Hiking with friends, walking the dogs, horseback riding- the ideas are limitless!⠀⠀
💖⠀ Here's a few creative ways to get some strength in, without feeling like your really working at all:⠀⠀
DANCE PARTY! Kick on 3-5 of your favorite tunes, and just let loose. Sing along, let your energy decide how your body bops to the beat! 💃⠀⠀
Nature Photography- find a pretty place, and go capture some memories with your camera. Spending time in nature is both relaxing and healing! 🌻⠀⠀
Urban Exploration- bike or walk around your neighborhood, and stop at any store you've never been to before. You'll get to know your community while also stretching your legs! 🛍⠀⠀
👇 How do you stay active throughout the weekend? Do you have a favorite activity, or place you enjoying visiting? Let me know in the comments!⠀⠀
Competitions or Adventures? Why not both? As an athlete who consistently plans, dreams big and plans some more I craft my schedule around key races I like to work towards. Often that means saying NO to less serious races, less competitive races or worse....adventures with family and friends that may be seen as too much fun. I am here to remind you how important it is to say YES to these adventures. Don’t get me wrong, it’s great to win races, or set personal bests, but it’s equally great when you get to participate in the sport you love for the long haul. My best running days are still ahead of me because I continue to evolve as a runner. And as I continue to search for the right balance between competition and play, I’m reimagining what running & movement means to me and finding that I love running more than ever before.
How bad do you want it?
Muhammad Ali said it before, “I hated every minute of training, but I said, ‘Don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.”✨ 👇 comment below what you think!
