I was always a fan of acrobatics, climbing, hanging, being upside down and everything that had a bit of adrenaline (sometimes a lot). With Pole dance I managed to find everything together🤸

Siempre fui muy fan de las acrobacias, Colgarse, estar cabeza para abajo y todo lo que tuviera un poco de adrenalina (a veces mucha). Con Pole dance logré encontrar todo unido🤸
My practice plan is:
15min Frog - really really tough today and I had to get out of it in the middle but I was happily surprised to see the pictures. I felt I was getting near the floor but not quite touching. I reckon I will soon... But hips were tighter today so it was as always excruciating and I had to do a lot of counter poses afterwards.
Tadpole variant with backbend - again that was hard and it took me a while to get out 🤣 #samakonasana attempt - barely touched the inside of the lower legs on the floor today - the smile is because I was getting near the end 😁 #baddhakonasana with feet against the wall (trying to push hips down) #sphinx / #cobra variant with baddha konasana legs

It is official! 🧘♂️ I've started a #yoga challenge with myself on #strava . I've had enough of my backache, my nice rounded belly... and other not very good looking parts. 😊👍 One step at a time! No big goals yet though! Every day a yoga session for 5 minutes for one week. If I can manage that I will try another week. If I can handle 4 weeks there is a chance of maintaining a habit.
My goal is only to strengthen & stretch my achy body. No losing weight. 😉

I think I'm a lot kinder and more compassionate and understanding
I love that I'm a good listener, I love that I'm disciplined and I love the fact that I'm interested in almost everything (even tho in the past I used to see this as sth negative, not being able to find that "one thing that's right for me")
I used to think I have to achieve great things

Last year, around this time, I was in India with @healthyandfitter and @leonrocketlondon_ (and we befriended our beloved Frenchie @alex_yogini). Here we are one night collecting our purchased art pieces from a lovely local artist (mine now hangs right next to my bed). I miss these special moments (and the WARMTH), and our strong morning & afternoon practices with @balu.sadhanayoga
That escape helped break up London winter. I’m definitely feeling the February drag this year, but practicing in a warm room everyday and heating up my body from the inside helps tremendously. I don’t know what I would do if I wasn’t able to do that: maybe go MAD. 😂 Join me in one of my classes this week to warm up your body:

Esercizi di Pilates Mathwork mirati per attivare e rinforzare il core e tonificare la muscolatura del corpo nella sua interezza attraverso movimenti fluidi, ma consapevoli. Rilascio delle tensioni muscolari con la pratica degli asana in stile Odaka Yoga, e rilassamento finale.

Ki- Flow - per agevolare l’apertura dell’articolazione delle spalle, del torace e relativi centri energetici coinvolti
Odaka Yoga session – un flow specifico mirato a rilasciare emozioni cristallizzate in particolare nella parte alta del corpo per potersi aprire verso tutto ciò che ci circonda.
