Day 63 - Singapore 🇸🇬: the next stop in my ‘final walk’ takes us to Arab street. In the heart of Singapore’s Muslim quarter stands the Masjid Sultan Mosque, which dates back more than 200-years-old, and the surrounding streets are an eclectic blend of street art, boutique shops, and trendy cafes. I’m a fan 🕌👨🏻🎨.
I was there during Ramadan, so a lot was going on, and I really enjoyed walking the streets, soaking up the lively atmosphere. While I wished I had more time, Arab St ended up as my favorite area of Singapore and where I’m itching to explore more of than any other, next time I’m in this great country.
I’m typically skeptical of ‘tourist reviews’ from the popular sites/books, but this was recommended by a well-traveled cousin (shout out, Mandy); I didn’t even look it up or know anything about Arab street, just took her word for it and ended up having a highly enjoyable experience! 🙏🏻 #liveelevated

Throwback to the time I was working as a promoter in various NTUC promoting chicken stock 🐥 It all started out with me needing the money for this school assignment trip (because tourism student) and soon it just became part of my routine because I realised that I can juggle both work and school easily.
I continued working there for a year plus on and off at times and I met many different kinds of colleagues and customers. It was a great out of school learning experience. An experience you can only get by applying a job from @FastJobs . I don’t like snakes...!! Anyway, was told that this is a Gold-Ringed Cat Snake. Soon after this pix was taken - the Park Ranger told me that Acres Wildlife Rescue Centre (ACRES) was going to come by to pick it up. Apparently there is some problem with its eyes - its eye cap didn’t come off during its shedding process.
Which one are you? 🤷🏼♂️⠀

Koi The - The bubble tea craze is here to stay! Great selection of freshly brewed teas with sugar levels to your liking and a choice of pearls (bubbles). And then there's also an option of caramel popcorn🍿 or icecream 🍦as a topping! If you arent into tea, there's a couple of coffee blends to select from too.
My current addiction- the Koi cafe with golden pearls. The golden pearl is made from tapioca and has an awesome chewy texture 😍! And if you dont like that, theres the option of aloe vera , Grass or Konjac jelly or Taro balls 🍠. *
